Getting to be back to the sea was is a favourite of koa's, he's glad they found someone so quickly willing to take them. The feeling of freedom came back he when leaning on the fence feeling the air in the water.
They had met K the night before but the only name K didn't know was Koa's but he wasn't giving it up that easily. K basically begging for his name amused koa so much he almost laughed and he was struggling to keep a straight face.
When he turned his head he could see Ax and Ki in the peripheral of his vision. He believes kin will be safe when they have to separate from one another. Kin going back to the sea and Koa having to be on land with his wife, a life he doesn't want.
