When Koa woke up Kal was still there cuddled up. Koa does not want to move, he feels great just lying with Kal. "Mornin' darlin'," Koa grumbles in response. Kal laughs, he moves to grab their clothes. Koa sits up, winces slightly, Kal looks up with a little bit of concern. Koa just smiles back.
When they get to the deck of the tempest they are immediately split up, Koa being sent up to the crows nest and Kal having to talk to the captain. Koa gets glared at by Vidalia and other crew members, which is the norm when it's Koa. They are talking about the two of them and he knows it. He climbs to the crows nest and just sits there as he has nothing else to do.
He got bored the minute he sat down in the crows nest and so he's singing sea shanties. He does see Kin and Ax talking. Kel and Kal talking. The crew talking about him and avoiding Kin and Kel so they actually can talk about Koa behind everyone's back.

It's late when Koa gets down from the crows nest. Ax and Kal aren't on deck for sea sickness related reasons. The crew are, he isn't sure where Kel and Kin are, could be with Camile. That's when the comments to Koa start. Vidalia stands in front of Koa blocking him as he tries to leave, it pisses Koa off. It pisses him off so hard that he punches Vidalia in the jaw again, Vidalia hits back going for Koa's weak spots and Koa returns everything harder until Vidalia is on the ground. Koa still kicks him, he gets Vidalia in the ribs hitting hard, he looks down at Vidalia, when he looks up Koa spits in his face. "Don't get in my way again," Koa growls and walks off to the storage he usually hides in. He waits until it's dark enough that no one should be.
Koa gets back to his room really late, when he opens the door he sees Kal sitting on the bed, he looks at Koa who looks away "darlin' what happened" Kal sounds worried.
"Nothing it's fine," Koa gets on the bed lying down next to Kal.
"Ya can't come in here blooded sayin' it's fine cause it's not fine." Kal brings hands through Koa's hair gently. The door slams open "ya want to tell me why the fuck yous two decide to pick fights with that cunt" Kel sounds mildly annoyed and concerned. Kal looks at Koa, Koa rolls over so that he doesn't have to look at either of them. He doesn't answer. "Compass, I need yer fucking answer," Kel is getting more and more concerned. Koa's tail is wrapped around Kal's leg, "Leave me alone" he says, he's so close to crying, he hates when the crew talk about him, he hates that Vidalia was being a massive cunt the whole time he's been here. There's too much happening, he just wants to be in bed and look cuddle up with Kal. Camile starts talking "Cookie, ze just wants to know what happened, we are going to leave tell zem tomorrow, please and thanks" he starts walking off dragging the door closed and Kel with him.
"Koa, darlin', what's wrong" Kal lays down behind Koa and gently rubs his hip.
"I hate when the crew talk about me," he's crying now, he's shaking, "it pisses me off. And he....vidalia got in my way he wouldn't move and so I....well you fucking get it." Koa rolls over to look at Kal "I'm fucking sorry."
"Why are ya apologising' it's okay, he fuckin' deserves it" Kal plays with Koa's hair.

When Koa woke up he went to the captain's quarters. He told Kel everything and Kel was pissed once Koa was done, pissed at Vidalia, Camile was also pissed. Koa spent the day in his hammock. Kal did what he wanted, which was join Koa in the hammock for a bit then go out to talk to Kel and look at the ocean. Camile came into his room to get Koa to eat something, he wasn't hungry so he didn't really eat. He thinks over people came in but to be honest he wasn't sure of anything that was happening.
He didn't realise until later that Kal got him out of the hammock and into the bed so they could lie together more comfortably. "'m sorry sweet"
"Do be sorry darlin', it'll be okay" Kal sounds like he's trying but it's just not working. So Kal starts humming a song Koa had sang, Kal didn't expect Koa to join in but he did, and it helped Koa come back to full awareness, "Thank you," he whispers to Kal.
"Anytime darlin'" he gently kisses Koa and Koa returns it. They cuddled up together.
"I love you"
"I love ya too, Koa" Kal smiles and so does Koa.
