(Georges pov)

George woke up with Luca in his arms, he reached for his phone, 11.27am. He slowly went to check Clays room, empty. He sighed before walking out to the living room where both the cats were playing.
He sat down on the couch and opened pinterest on his phone. He scrolled for a few hours, looking for house and home decor inspiration. It was one of his favorite things to do.

7.46pm, the front door opened and Clay stepped into the warmth of their home. Hes shoulders and hair was all wet.
"Rain?" George asked with a slight chuckle.
"A lot of it" Clay chuckled back.
"When are you gonna tell me where you go everyday?" George asked with a bit more of a serious tone.
"Work?" Clay mumbled.
"Clay, I need an actual answer" George said in the same tone as he looked up a Clay who was now standing infront of him.
"Youre gonna have to wait for the real answer" Clay said as he sat down next to George on the couch.
"Its fine, Ive gotten used to it" George smiled.
Clay looked down slightly, wanting to change the subject.
"Where are Luca and Patches?" Clay asked.
George looked up from his phone and looked around the room for a second.
"They were here... Buuuuut not anymore." George replied.
It was quiet for a while.
"Pinterest again, huh?" Clay asked.
"Yes... Feels like Ive seen everything on netflix like a billion times" George said with a chuckle.
"Sorry about leaving everyday by the way" Clay said all out of a sudden.

A few weeks later, Clay still left everyday but not for as long. They were all sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Gogy?" Clay mumbled.
"Yeah?" George replied, his eyes not leaving the screen of his phone.
"A little birdie told me that its your birthday this weekend" Clay mumbled with a smirk.
"Yeah.?" George mumbled, side eyeing Clay.
Clay chuckled before standing up and going to the kitchen.
