Two weeks of school had passed. Nothing much has happened ever since. Everything was going smooth as ever.

I wake up at 8:00 after getting beaten by up by one of my roomies, I run to breakfast, I attend my classes peacefully without disturbing anyone, I avoid Jennie at all costs, I give an unpleasant smile at Asher, Potter and me are still at bad terms so we just give each other the, 'I hope you're not happy' look.

I knew it was suspicious that some problem hadn't come up.

Lunch was to start in a few minutes. I was ready to run out of class, I was already half asleep and the potions professor was at his own pace explaining about some stupid love potion, seriously bro I won't be getting enough time to mix up potions to get someone to like me cause it's just a waste of time.

I was counting the seconds in my watch waiting desperately to leave class. Come on only 10 more seconds. 3...2...1... Yes, class was over! All the students were still half asleep on their benches. My legs started vibrating in restlessness. Come on, where is that kid who always says class time is over???

Two minutes had passed. The potions professor was still babbling something. Dude get a life, look at your watch and dismiss the class. I was getting impatient as every second passed, then Zayn got up and said, "Sir, Class time is over ''.

Oh my god Zayn! You're my hero Zayn! Thank you Zayn! I immediately got up and ran out of class. I walked slowly through the corridors humming, 'illicit affairs' by Taylor Swift. I don't feel hungry. Perhaps I should skip a meal and maybe hang out somewhere outside or something.

I went to exit the castle into the courtyard of Hogwarts and saw a few students using illegal joke products. There were some nerds getting bullied by levitating them upside down. Some were having a gobstones match and there were quite a few couples flirting with each other in the corners.

I walked further and saw some students flying their brooms over the lake. Perhaps I should borrow Lorcan's broom and go for a stroll one day. The whole environment seemed so calm and peaceful. I haven't felt so warm and heartfelt in ages. I usually only get this feeling when I'm at my home garden or sleeping.

I saw Amelia talking to Lily. I should probably warn Val that Amelia is getting under bad influence. I don't want Val to suffer with a drama queen sister. Then I saw Asher enter the scene with a fake flattery smile on his face as he greeted Lily as the both started chattering.

Then Val tapped my shoulder, "I guess even you are human".

"What?" I asked Val in a confused tone. "The way you looked at Asher and Lily with the human emotion of jealousy" he said smiling in a teasing way. "Of those two? Ha! Keep dreaming" I said, giving an irritated smirk.

I saw both of them laughing and giggling, she giggled and beat him playfully as he teased her. "You 're in his place. You got replaced Ly '' Lorcan said as he suddenly stuck his neck from my left shoulder. "Shut up" I said, annoyed.

"Hey guys give him space to breathe he might die" Jared said. I love my mommy Jared. Anyways, I think it's time to go to the library.

I walked to the library drowned in my thoughts, why does everyone mention Lily if I'm mentioned? I feel so- I don't know. It's unexplainable.

"Hey, not having lunch?" Jennie asked as she popped up beside me. Dude, I have enough things going on in my life I don't want to add you also as a problem. "I'm going to study for the Defence against the dark arts test that we have today wanna join?" She asked me with her blue eyes glistening.

"We have a test?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "Yeah" she said, smiling. I hate that smile, it reminds me of Potter. "Stop wasting your time, he never checks the test papers" I tipped as I walked away. "Wait-" she said as she held my robe. An uneasy feeling ran down me.

"I've got to go" I said as I continued walking, I didn't have time to deal with her at this moment. I have to do a quick read before the test we have today.

I went to the library and sat down. I took a book and started reading it. I was completely distracted. I couldn't even focus, after every paragraph I lose my interest and look around or keep my head down. I don't know why the thoughts of Potter are lingering around and haunting me.

"Hey" Asher said, sitting opposite to me. This guy, urgh. "How's it been you know? Between you and Lily" he said as he chuckled. "I told you we were never friends, I'm actually happy that she doesn't talk to me anymore. It's so peaceful. Thanks" I said, lying shamelessly.

I finally had the realization. Lily was the only one who gave me a purpose, she was the reason I was always so preoccupied and I liked that feeling but never appreciated it. I've never felt more alive other than when she used to annoy me.

"Really? That doesn't seem like the case to me" he said, smiling mercilessly. "I'm confused" I said shyly, putting up an act. "What?" Asher asked. "Do you really like Lily or do you like me? You seem more interested in my well being" I asked, I was on the verge of dying from laughter.

"Dude. What's wrong with you?" Asher said. "Its ok, it's common these days" I said, trying to falsely comfort him. This was so funny. "I- I give up '' he said as he got up and left. My talent of pissing people off has really reached a new level.

Asher you're going to be in the list of names with your name in red and underlined. You have crossed all the lines I drew. I declare the war. I don't know how I can prove that I'm better than you in every way cause it's so obvious that I am, but people like you don't get it.

From today we're official enemies. I lost Lily but I got you.

You're going to suffer my wrath till you bleed and accept defeat. The best part is that I know I'm going to win, I just have to do a few hits here and there and you'll fall down.

I'm a really tough kid. I can handle my emotions better than you. I didn't notice you walking all over my peace of mind. But now I did, so you'll bleed.

Asher, you should be blessed to be one of my enemies, not everyone gets such a great opportunity. I usually ignore people. Be grateful since our battle is probably going to be the only worthwhile thing in your worthless life.
