𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘 had arrived, the fourteenth of February the day of the LOVERS. For me though, it was just another day or that's what I thought. Today we had only half day school because of Valentine's day. It was currently 3:00pm.
My whole dorm was lively today. Val was dressed up in white for his date with Diana and Jared was memorising lines and practising to ask out Judy or to be exact, start talking to Judy. Both of them haven't been talking to each other for over a month now like what? Bro it was just a silly dare. I was just lying in my bed with Sugars purring beside me.
Lorcan and Hugo were both busy having an apparent group study in an empty classroom but who knows what they're up to.
Students have also been quite tensed up about O.W.L.s break up rates in our year had reached a new all time high. Students are spending more time in the library than in their beds and hanging out with their textbooks more than their friends and girlfriends/boyfriends.
This year's Valentine's Day is going to be sombre and dull. There are no ideal couples to tease and neither is anyone interested in cooking up drama. I MEAN BRO EVEN ASHER AND TIFFANY ARE LIKE SPENDING HOURS AND HOURS IN THE LIBRARY INSTEAD OF COOKING UP DRAMA AND DOING SHIT.
Social lives for the fifth year are at all time lows. Probably the most entertaining thing right now is Mongrel's unfunny nerd jokes.
"Lysander" Jared called me out. "Yeah" I asked him as I was listening to 'Lover' by Taylor Swift. I turned off the music and got up to talk to him. "I've rehearsed my lines now you act like Judy and I'll confess and apologise to you, it's kinda like a trial" Jared said.
"5 galleons if you fail asking her out" Val said grinning. "The bet is on" Jared said. "Ok now, start" I said, annoyed by Val's interruption.
"Judy, I- I- just want" Jared started and I cut him off and in my female voice I said, "Jared, I'm sorry but I can't afford getting married to you and having a child who stutters".
"Judy wouldn't say that" Jared said with a straight face. "I was indirectly telling you to stop stuttering, that's just weird, be chill and straight forward" I said sternly.
"Fine, redo" he said and continued, "I've been meaning to ask you Judy, you look so pretty today-" Jared was saying when I cut him off with my female voice and said, "Bro, look I already know I'm pretty, like I have like three boyfriends".
