Well yes, my family did recover from my great grandpa's passing but we decided to not celebrate Christmas this year beacuse of his recent passing as a symbol of mourning. But the Potters invited me and Lorcan to spend Christmas with them this year so yeah, I'm currently in that madhouse.

Today was Christmas eve also known as boxing day, the 24th of December.

All of us were wearing the all famous Weasley sweaters knitted by grandma Molly. The snow was like cute fluffy balls falling from the sky. The weather was pleasent. I love the cold so, it's kind of my favourite time to the year.

Parks were crowded filled with lovers. Merry time jingles playing and all the church candles glowing filled with sleepless nights of jolly. The smell of freshly baked cake evading the air along with a delish feast of roasted potatoes and chicken. Families getting together after all that running for a year.

Houses gleaming with glowing LEDs accompanied by some crazy messed up decorations on the trees in the front yard. Ironic.

I just finished eating Lunch and I was inside the Potter manor all warmed up and cozy in my sweater and fluffy socks. A black weasley sweater with a silver 'L' written in it.

James and Albus were incharge of the decorations outside the house and me, Lily and Lorcan were incharge of the indoor decorations and aunt Ginny and Harry Potter was incharge of the cooking and wrapping presents.

"Its so beautiful isn't it" Lily commented as she hung some stockings above the fireplace. "To be brutally honest, we don't do much for Christmas. We just eat good food. All these decoration and stuff just seem a bit too much of a hard work" Lorcan said. "I don't remember the last time we had a proper good looking well lit up christmas tree" I said as I wrapped some LEDs around the christmas tree.

"Well, I'm just happy that I get to spend Christmas with you both, its usually quite boring when you don't have someone who is your age group" Lily said with a pleasent smile. Is it just me suddenly noticing her smiles or is she smiling more often?

"We should invite the guys over to our house during summer holidays" Lorcan said. "I don't think Jared's parents are going to let him fly all the way from France and Val's probably going to visit his grandparents in Spain like evrey other holiday" I said as I hung some decorations above the fireplace.

"URGHHH" James came in covered with snow. Albus as usual stayed aloof as he ran back up to his room. "You look like a 6 foot snowman" Lorcan commented laughing. "I would rather just stay back for practising professional Quidditch rather than you know decorate the house with lights" James said letting out a sigh.

"Just use magic" Lorcan said. "Look pal we can't be doing magic in the city of London where its always loaded and lively with muggles" James said. "Oh" Lorcan said and went back to decorating.

"Take a break kids" aunt Ginny announced as she brought some half-burnt fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with some milk. "It's a little burnt" she said as she placed them on the tea-table as we jumped onto the baby blue couch.

"A little burnt?" James asked sarcastically as he picked up a cookie and inspected it as he took a bite. "It's actually better than usual" he commented as he took a second bite. Lily was already half way through her second cookie. Me and Lorcan picked one up and took a bite. Oh yes, it was a little sour but managable. "You bake better cookies" Lorcan whispered into my ears. "Wow, so you're finally greatful for it?" I said.
