❝ 𝐈𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘? ❞ Lily said in her purple top and black short skirt as her eyes shimmered in the warm lights, looking through the glass of a jewelry shop looking at a diamond necklace. "It looks like an invisible string, it's useless" I commented. "Don't say that, it's so shiny. It's a diamond like me" she said. "Narcissist" I commented. "I'm not wrong though" Lily said smiling as we walked through a mall in London.
Myself, Lorcan and Lily are currently hanging out in a mall in London. We visited London because tomorrow we were going to meet Jared, Val and Hugo at Diagon Alley to buy books. Lily had already bought them so she wasn't coming with us, yay. So we were staying over at the Potter's home tonight.
I took my airpods out of my pocket and put them on and played my playlist. The first song was 'Paper rings'. Oh what a mood!
Lorcan was scrolling on his instagram and Lily was running around and window shopping like a child. Then Lily held my arm as her soft and silky hair brushed on my hands. AH MY HEART! I should tell her to maintain a distance or I might accidentally die due to a heart attack. "What?" I asked her.
She took my left airpod and put it in her ear. "I wanna join" she said smiling. I rolled my eyes and went back to scrolling my phone. "Can both of you put your phones down and talk to me?" Lily pleaded. "No" Lorcan said. I didn't even bother to reply.
Then the next song started playing and it was 'Dress' by Taylor Swift. This song was one of my favorites but I got that 'judging look' from Potter after she heard the lyrics. "LyLy, you listen to so many romantic songs, aren't they supposed to make you romantic? Why're you always like-" she said and made a blank expression.
"I've never tried being romantic because I was never put in such a situation, maybe I am romantic but I never tried" I said. "You're so unbelievable, you give me chills. HOW ARE YOU SO METHODICAL EVEN IN FEELINGS AND STUFF AREN'T THEY SUPPOSED TO BE NATURAL YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO ACT'' Lily said.
"Wait what?" I asked. Wait, was she saying that you can naturally smile without even realizing and naturally flirt without any pre-prepared script in your mind? WHY HAVEN'T I REALIZED THAT MY WHOLE LIFE? MY LIFE IS A LIE.
"I don't even want to- Just leave it. I don't know how you're- You're hopeless Ly" Lily said sighing. "I have a doubt" I said courageously. Lorcan gave a sudden glare at me, "YOU HAVE A DOUBT, I THOUGHT YOU WERE SMART HAHAHAHA" he said and went back to his phone. Why's he acting like some kind of git in the recent times or am I getting more irritable?
