Why did he mention my parents? Had someone told him? The hell is going on? Why is he being so nice to me? He is a dick to everyone else?
I closed my phone and put it on my nightstand, my head filled with thoughts as I tried to close my eyes to rest but I couldn't fall asleep.
Sitting up from my bed, I grab my phone and text Ashtray again, asking if he wanted to go for a walk. I would have asked Mads but I know she would be asleep at this hour.
He responded to my text within a minute, telling me he would be at my house soon. I stayed in my pjs, heading to my closet to put on a pair of running shoes. Another text on my phone from ashtray just said he was out front of my house.
I climb through my window, landing on my roof, how the fuck and I supposed to get down now. I mean... it's not that tall of a jump... right?
"Jump.. I'll catch you" a voice said from below, I look down only to meet Ashtrays eyes.
"I'm scared"
"You think ima drop you? Get yo ass down here"
I laugh slightly, well here goes nothing... I jump down from the roof my eyes squeezed shut, ready for the impact of the ground. But the only thing I felt was two large hands wrapped around my waist, softly placing me on the grass.
"Pussy" he says with a smirk, letting go of me
"Shut up"
We walk to the end of my driveway, turning left, now walking in the middle of the road side by side, our arms touching every now and then.
We have been walking for about 20 minutes, talking about random things, we made our way back to my house.
"What happened to your cheek?" He asked, making me tense up... should I tell him? No.
"When I fell at cheerleading, one of the girls tried to catch me but ended up hitting my face.. nothing to worry about"
He looked unconvinced, but nodded.
He walked me back home.
"Hey um, thanks for going on a walk with me, I guess- I guess I just needed some air.. ya know?"
"Mhm"
"Well, see you at school?"
"Ye, night Embers"
"Night Ashtray"
"Bruh stop calling me that, just call me Ash ight?"
"Okay, goodnight Ash"
"Ya ya night" he said before walking away from my house, leaving me at the end of my driveway smiling.

"Yo Fez!" I say walking into the house, pushing pasted Faye

"We need to have a lil chat with Embers parents" I say with a cold face.
