The phone call took me by surprise, I had not expected the news it beared. My home had been invaded, the first time in all these years. No body had ever dared to go near my gate without my knowledge and only a few people I had let in knew where it was.
Which means we had a mole, someone within my inner circle had let the intruders in and nothing and nobody in this world would be able to save them from me if I found out who they were. And I am definitely going to find them.

For the moment though, I had to make sure the people got out of safely and by that I mostly meant my wife.

I had to make sure she was safe before I proceeded to do anything else. She would be used as my weakness otherwise.

"Make sure you take her out of there safely. If they get to know about her, they will use her against me. Take her away with the others before they get to her. I don't want any mistakes." I instructed my right hand before I ended the call. My wife and my surviving men along with my staff would be taken to the safe houses and when I got a notification that she was out, I was ready to execute my next plan.

Vengeance on my intruders. I had found out it was Gustavo who had attacked, a leader of one of the smaller drug cartels in Mexico and he desperately wanted to take me down. Unfortunately for him, he had dared to, and that was not going to well for him.

What I didn't know however, was who the mole but once I found him, do help him God but he was finished. I bet he knew it whoever he was because u don't fuck with Dante De Leone and expect to get away with it. He had better prayed for my death otherwise he was certain to meet his.

My men and I finally drove through the heavy gates leading us into my estate and it looked like a takeover had already been done because my men were now replaced by some stupid looking fellas and it was amusing how stupid they were to think they had something against me and to think they would walk out alive. I gave them the pleasure to think so and feel strong as we drove further with no attack established on them.

The thing is that people mistake bulkiness and muscles for strength and it pleased me to find out Gustavo was one of the foolish ones. Otherwise if that was the case, then my men would be useless and I wouldn't lead the biggest and most feared cartel around the globe.

And yet someone still dared to attack my estate.

"Oh look who it is. Our guest of honor has finally arrived. Come now, we were waiting for you.
Gustavo flashed his crooked yellowed teeth as I made my way into the halls that were now covered with more bulky looking men.

Such a coward.

The guy is more of a fool if he thinks that these fools will provide him protection from me.

you really happy to see me, Gustavo. Doesn't look like it!!"

"Are you really happy to see me, Gustavo. Doesn't look like it!!"
I said, my tone mocking.

He stiffened and I swear I could see fear in his hazel eyes before it was replaced by false confidence.

"You flatter yourself much young man if you really think am scared of you."

"Your words, not mine, Gustavo. And why would you be scared really. After all, you have the place and every inch is surrounded by your men"

I gestured at his men, a mocking smirk gracing my face and it didn't sit well with him as I saw him start to slowly lose his cool.

Another mistake.

I pulled out a chair for myself and sat comfortably as I faced him. Something in him shifted, something I liked a lot in my enemies. Intimidation.
My presence intimidated him and that's where many of them made mistakes.

When they are intimidated, they forget to reason with their brains and use their weapons instead. That, is where I get them.

"So, Gustavo, am curious. What made you think attacking my estate was a good idea. Haven't you heard of the stories?"

He burst into an ugly laughter, clearly not fazed with anything I had said.

"Those tales don't faze me, what could a kid like you do to me? You don't deserve to be at the top like you are and once am done with you, no one will even remember your name. Those fools have clearly lost their minds if they are afraid of you."

"If you say so, Gustavo." Amusement filled my voice as I spoke to him.

You know, my son told me how I could defeat you. I know all your strengths and weakest points, your artillery has already been raided and with my men surrounding this whole place, I would love to see how you could win against me. So, since am feeling generous, how about we celebrate your demise with a feast, Mr. De Leone."

Only a fool would eat what an enemy served him, but I didn't let him know that.

"Of course, am sure I will enjoy the feast. Just call your son, am sure it will be a pleasure meeting the one who brought me to my knees, right Gustavo. Or is he hiding away like a coward?"

"But of course, I wouldn't let you die before meeting the one who led to your downfall." He spoke with certainty and confidence like he had already won. I gave him the satisfaction knowing all too well, that he would soon be pleading for mercy.

His son came down, revealing a face I knew all too well.

Miguel Rodriguez, one of my new recruits that had been progressing all too well that he had earned my attention.
Despite him holding his head up high, the fool was still scared. I could see it in his eyes.

"So, Miguel, it was you who chose to go against me. I hope you know what price those that go against me have to pay."

"Hey, watch what you say. Remember, you are at our mercy "

"And that's where you are wrong!! See, Miguel, the first thing you needed to know about me is that am never caught unaware. I happen to have back up for every single thing."

I saw Miguel become pale.

Gustavo laughed incredulously.

"I hope you have back up for your life, because you sure are going to need that after am done with you."

"You mock me, I see. Guess we will have to wait and watch."

I turned around to face Miguel once more,my smile causing him to cower for he knew before his idiotic father that his life was on the line.

"Any last words?"

"You wouldn't dare!!" Gustavo said as I held a gun to his head.

And dare, I did.
