Angelo

When we all walked into the gym, I didn't expect to find my sister there, or Jax for a matter of fact. I still don't know how I feel about the guy, so far he seems genuine and good with her. I guess there will always just be a part of me that doesn't fully trust someone else with her after losing her for all those years. I missed out on all the important things as she grew up. But the most important part I missed out on was her growing up. She was just a little girl running and giggling around the house... how could she have just turned into this mature teenager? I don't see her giggling around like she use to, and she walks around like we are strangers most of the time. But to her, we are strangers.

It is just so hard to see her with Jax doing all things I wish she was doing with me.

But as I watch her getting into the ring, I am surprised. Surprised to find out my sister... boxes? How did I not know this? I guess it makes sense as to the hole she punched in the wall.

But I think most of all, what I wasn't expecting was to see how good she actually was. All her calculated movements and focus reminded me of the way we all fight. But most of all, watching her, I could see Toni. The way she fights, its like a parallel to him.

I look over and see he is also watching. The gleam in his eye tells me he has made the same connection I just did. He looks proud, letting his walls down enough without noticing allowing me to see his true emotions about her.

"She fights like you Toni." I say while watching her, she throws a left hook into the pad, Jax stumbling back slightly from the impact.

"Mmm." He says, his lips pulling up slightly as he watches.

"Shes good." I decide to say, hoping to get him to say something more.

"Yeah." He says, very in tune with our sisters fighting ability. "I wonder where she learned to fight. And when." His face shifts slightly to more of a studying one.

When they finally finish on the ring, Nova's expression changes slightly. She looks more pale while looking in our direction. Following her glance I look over to.. Andrés. His eyes slightly widen, but he quickly fixes his... surprise? It confuses me. When I go to say something he beats me to it.

"Hey guys I gotta head out, I got some shit I need to take care of." He tells us, glancing at our other friends. We get the hint at what he means, knowing he can't say exactly what with the other guys here so we give him a nod.

"Alright, let us know if we can assist with anything." Toni says.

He nods before quickly leaving.

Nova watches this action before she starts whispering to Jax. His head quickly snaps towards Andrés before Nova slaps his arm.

"Elio." Toni starts.

"Yeah I know. But I have no clue." I tell him, he understands.

What just happened between my sister and friend? She looked almost fearful... and he looked like he just found out life changing news.

I want to ask Nova, but from the way she is whispering with Jax I don't think she wants us to know. I wish she knew she could trust us with whatever, confide in us like she does with Jax. Its the pang of jealousy that I feel when seeing them together.

I know I can't blame him, its not his fault for what happened all those years ago. But at least I know she had someone with her and that she wasn't alone.

That is what is holding me together currently. Knowing that my sister wasn't lost and alone suffering. She was safe, and had a friend with her.
