"Wanna skip?" I ask Jax.

"Sunshine, for the last time no."

"Whyy you are always down to skip."

"Yeah but not skipping today means I get gossip later." He says with a unsympathetic shrug. 

"First off people need to stop complaining about girls and gossip because you are worst then us. Second you ain't gonna get no gossip."

"Yes I will." He says matter of factually.

"Yeah and how is that."

"Maybe because I am your only friend unless you wanna go and talk to your brothers about making out with Andres?" 

"Hey I could go talk to Elio!" I say and right after is followed by silence before both Jax and I burst out laughing.

"He couldn't keep a secret even if he tried!" Jax says after calming down.

"Hey you gotta give him some credit. He did "hide" the mafia from me."

"Yeah, I guess that's true." He says on a sigh leaning his head back against the passenger seat of my car. 

"So you really ain't gonna skip with me?"

"Nope."

"Okay I guess I can skip by myself."

"How would your brothers react to that."

"I don't know. Maybe Wendigo had a little problem to solve." I say wiggling my brows.

"You wouldn't. Plus I could say that's a lie."

"Would youuuu? Would you really? Doesn't that go against best-friend code. Don't you have to cover for me."

"Sunshineee" Jax whines.

"Fine. I am not skipping. Only because if I don't go today then I have to tomorrow. Maybe he won't show up to class. I mean half the time he is late and the other half he is a no show. Plus I can be really fascinated with what the teacher is saying when I wanna be."

"See you will be fine."

"Yeah and under normal circumstances this would be no problem for me. But this go around the dude is at my house 24/7 and his best-friend happens to be  my brother. Why does this happen to me?"

"I hate to be the one to break this to you. But when a attractive guy meets a hot gir-"

"Shut the fuck up and get out of my car."

"Going going. Come on Sunshine lets go."

"ughh"

When I get into Ms. Rosewoods class, she stops me before I can head to my seat.

"Oh Nova! Just the girl I wanted to talk to." She says all chipper.

"Oh.. What's up."

"I wanted to talk to you about the paper you turned in."

"Oh okay. Was something wrong with it?"

"No no. It was really good. Your writing was above high school level. Giving you a 100 doesn't seem to do you justice for that paper so I just wanted to say nicely done." She says giving me a warm smile.

"Oh, well thank you."

"Are you planning to go to college?" She asks. 

"Oh I never really thought to much on it." In reality it is just I know I don't need it and if I decided to it would just be online classes.

"Oh well it is definitely something to consider. You would thrive in the English department, and if you ever need a recommendation you can let me know." 

"Okay will do. Thank you." I say before heading to my seat. Already bored of school I take out my air pods and put on my music.

I watch out the window until the final bell rings and the last of the students fill into the room. I do a double take when I spot a familiar face. What the fuck is he doing here. On time. He walks in with a smug look on his face before plopping down in the seat next to me. 

"Sweetheart."

"Pretty boy"

"Ah I love it when you talk dirty to me."

"What the fuck is wrong with you." I say swinging a glare in his direction, and he only smirks in return. I shake my head at him letting out a scoff. "There is something seriously wrong with you today. Are you sick? Did you forget that this is the classroom and class starts at this time?"

"No but when I lay out the pros and cons the pro out weighs the cons." He says and I try not to let the words get to me.

"Ohh right Valentina. See I thought she only had a thing for Toni but I think it is actually all of you. She would be very happy to hear that one of you are interested. Just be careful, I have heard about that needle in a condom trick." I tell him with a fake sympathetic look.

"Is that jealousy on your face?" He asks with amusement. "I gotta say you wear nicely." 

"Pretty boy you need some serious help if you think I am jealous." I scoff.

"It totally is." 

"It totally isn't." I say mimicking his tone.

"Oh it-"

"Shhhh. I want to learn. I hear I have potential in this class." I say while facing forward.

Andres laughs. "Don't worry Valentina isn't anywhere near my thoughts. I think all those slots are pretty full right now."

"How would Toni feel about those thoughts." I say with a raised eyebrow.

"Toni doesn't have to know about my thoughts."

"Yeah you seemed to of forgotten he is my brother."

"Yeah and he would get over it."

"There is nothing to get over."

"Not yet."

"What is that even supposed to mean-"

"Nova and Andres you guys need to stop talking during my lesson." Ms. Rosewood says before turning back to whatever she was yapping about.

"It means not yet." Andres whispers.

"You are so full of shit." I whisper back.

"No you are so full of denial." 

I snort out loud and then whisper a quick sorry to Ms Rosewood. "You are the one in denial. Who would have thought one little kiss would have gotten you so worked up. If all the girls find out about this they are gonna be trying to kiss you all up and down the hallway."

"Ew. I don't want that thought in my head." 

"I can't even tell if you are joking or not right now." I mean seriously? Doesn't this boy hook up with girls left in right? "Anyway that is besides the point the point is-"

"The point is that I came to class to learn this very important lesson Ms. Rosewood is teaching and you are distracting me sweetheart." 

"Oh my- I cannot with you."

"Shh. You can talk to me later outside of class." 

"I don't wanna talk to you outside of class-"

"Then I will talk to you. Same difference." 

"No you won't. Now shut up."
