Chapter 20: Expanding the arsenal

A hidden facility within the mountain range saw a lot of activity within the week prior, trucks of both civilian and military is seen moving back and forth from the secluded area to the port carrying 5 large pieces on a flatbed truck. It was even escorted by 2 helicopters and a handful of armored escorts around its vicinity, the large pieces were then concealed in a large enclosed hangar at an Airbase

The engineers that's currently present were tasked to create, assemble and finish the project in about 3-5 years, the project was called "Blue Falcon" and now its finished. Some collaborating individuals were also present, from Generals to Military contractors. Everyone's expectations were high especially from the company that were tasked to create it, "Phoenix Aeronautics and Research Agency"

The broadcast is only exclusive for now, but a months' time they'll unveil it to the public and its capabilities, at least what the government itself needs to tell the public so that spies couldn't infiltrate the main aircraft's software

As he said that, the tarp that was covering the aircraft then unveiled it. Several military leaders of each branch were inspecting the aircraft, some nodded while others commented with their fellow leaders. Military journalists took pictures and wrote a report about the new aircraft, while several contractors were seen asking the Phoenix's CEO for future cooperation for the manufacturing of spare parts for the plane

Even though the aircraft needed more rigorous testing, the aircraft flew at a Cambodian testing ground to test its radar cross section, engine thrust ratio and power and even landing simulations. The results speak for themselves, Prime Minister Lin was also present at the unveiling and inspected the plane itself. She couldn't lie that she's also excited for USEAN's new leap forward on stealth technology

Their first stealth jet were the F-35's from the US but they were hampered for getting any stealth coatings or materials, so when the US sold them the F-35's they were jumping for joy and tried testing the plane but they were once hampered by both politics and the plane's manufacturer secrecy

Now, they weren't chained to the other country's rules and immediately started to disassemble and reassemble the F-35. Getting material samples from its stealth coating and now placing it on their new jet, all they have to do now is wait...

The new plane took some inspiration from Two countries, Russia and US, the engines were domestically made jet engine that's inspired from the F-35 but the engine could also super cruise at Mach 1.5 with its overall speed of Mach 2.5

The plane's length is nearly 19 meters with a Wingspan of 13.95 meters and a height of 4.5 meters, despite its size it's quite maneuverable and nimble and it has at least 6 internal hard points for any air to air missile configuration. If they're back on Earth, China would've been frothing its mouth in urgency and they would initiate a smear campaign against this aircraft

Ever since their "Chengdu J-20" got cancelled back in 2018, they've been playing Cat and mouse with the US and Russia for the 5th gen aircraft, they're losing. So this creation of an air superiority fighter is quite exciting for anyone involved, and now, the results bare fruit

Just 500 meters from the enclosed hangar, a new surface to air missile system was being set up. The T-400 "Daguob", a derivative of the S-400 but with the capability of not only anti aircraft operations but also anti ballistic missile interception. It is also integrated with the USEANs own military software, the "Iron Link", it has also been upgraded with a smokeless engine for its missiles, a further surprise for any would-be adversary
