The realization hit me: that's why my Infinity deactivated. It was because of  her technique. I grinned. Kanna... she has great potential... she just needs to learn how to harness it.

I thought back, realizing it might have been because I was thinking about her.

 Shaking my head, I chuckled.

What threw me off was how she perceived me.

She really shouldn't think of me that way....

She stood before me in a fighting stance, launching a punch with her right fist from below, her brown-black eyes filled with determination. Three days had passed, and we had been training non-stop. I pushed her to her limits every time.

Predictable... tsk.

I had my Infinity deactivated since I wanted to teach her some hand-to-hand combat techniques. Just before I could catch her punch, she surprised me with an unexpected move. She slid into a split and attempted to sweep me off balance with a quick kick.

My grin widened.

I placed my left hand on her shoulder and casually landed on the other side. Before she could recover, I grabbed her jacket from behind and threw her across the training ground.

"You are slowwwwwww" I called out lazily as she crashed into another tree.

 She quickly got back up.

These poor trees, she's destroyed so many of them already because of me.

I stifled a laugh as she brushed her hair out of her face.

Annoyed, she glared at me. "You have a fetish for throwing people around, don't you?"

I shrugged. "Only with weaklings."

I hit a nerve, it seemed, and she used the perfected teleportation technique I taught her on day two. In milliseconds, she was in front of me. She swung her right fist with such force that the wind around us intensified. With each punch, she stepped forward and I stepped back.

I dodged left, then her left fist, I dodged right, evaded her sidekick by jumping, my hands still in my pockets. She looked even more irritated. In that brief moment of air time, I kicked her away.

She was thrown back but quickly recovered, ready to strike again.

I stopped her with a finger on her forehead.

She froze, staring at me in surprise. "What the hell-"

I moved my finger, causing her to stumble forward. I stepped aside as she fell face-first into the ground, her butt sticking up.

I whistled, "Nice view."

She growled in frustration and shot an electric shot at me.

I leaned back, letting it fly over me, then straightened up and kicked her butt, sending her rolling forward until she landed on her back, breathing heavily, looking like she was making a snow angel.
