Yuji's despondent expression filled me with fear. His hand clenched into a fist, his teeth biting down on his lip, his eyes showing only sorrow.
Gojo took a step forward and placed his hands on Yuji's shoulders. "Wait, how much time has passed since the sealing?"
Yuji looked up. "Almost two weeks."
I reacted in shock. "WHAT?"
Gojo took a step back in surprise and looked at me. "It should have only been a maximum of 3 hours for us."
I nodded, running a stressed hand through my hair, taking deep breaths.
Yuji sat down on a piece of rubble, his hands braced on his thighs, his voice sounding like a broken soul. "In that time, a lot has happened...they forced 8 fingers into me." His breath hitched, and he ground his teeth. "All this disaster you see was Sukuna...he fought against Mahoraga from Megumi's Ten Shadows and took control of it."
Gojo's eyes widened. "No..."
Yuji nodded. "Nanami is dead, Nobara has a life-threatening injury, and it's uncertain if she'll survive. More than half the people are dead and then..." His fist hit his forehead as a tear fell. "And then! And then... Sukuna swapped bodies while I was with Megumi and is now in his body!"
He wept bitterly.
My stomach churned. "Yuji..." I felt so sorry for him...
Gojo suddenly sat down, the color drained from his face. "Megumi..."
Right, he raised Megumi... I felt so guilty... so damn guilty... It felt like the fingers of my dead comrades were pointing at me, all shouting in unison, "It's your fault!"
Nobara was at the center, her left eye covered. "Kanna Sensei, was it really necessary?"
I gasped in shock.
My stomach turned, and I felt like I was going to vomit. I turned around, fell to my knees, and cried as I vomited.
Gojo and Yuji stood up, concerned. "Kanna!"
Gojo placed a hand on my shoulder and moved my hair out of my face. "Calm down."
His voice was so gentle, so soothing. I wiped my mouth and turned around, feeling weaker than ever.
He hugged me tightly.
"Gojo, it's my fault!"
He shook his head. "No... this was unforeseeable."
Yuji's voice sounded firm and resolute. "No, Kanna Sensei, it's not your fault... it's the fault of those bastards."
I turned my head to him in surprise, only now noticing the scars and blood from the battles on his face.
I looked at him. "We will save him, Yuji..."
He nodded firmly. "We will save him, 100 percent."
Gojo kissed me on the forehead. "Everything will be alright."
But the three of us knew that it would never be the same as before.
We then headed to the headquarters. Shoko, Utahime, the students, and the remaining sorcerers froze when they saw me.
Shoko ran to me and hugged me tightly. "No impossible.....You're alive!"
I hugged her back. "Yes..."
She took my face in her hands, joyful.

We all sat down, and I explained the situation. "I was trained to the utmost there, but we never discussed the specifics of the plan... it was always just about creating a world with the energy of non-sorcerers where every wish comes true."
Maki scoffed. "They want a world of curses."
I turned away from the window and nodded. She had changed too. I let my eyes wander around the room. No, everyone had changed. "We have to make the best of it now."
Yuta nodded. "Exactly."
I cracked my neck as Gojo spoke again, sitting on the couch next to Yuji, deep in thought. "It probably wasn't in Kenjaku's plan for you to be sealed too because he knew you could undo the prison. I bet he planned to kill you with the attack afterward."
I placed my foot on the table to tie my shoelaces. "Probably, yes."
He looked at me, and the others' gazes were also on me. "So, his plan B was to bring Sukuna into play in exchange for something."
I removed my foot once I finished, feeling that endless emptiness and the presence of someone very familiar in Shibuya.
I unconsciously grinned with a murderous intent. "My father is also here..."
Gojo noticed, but the others didn't. Gojo stood up. The room was filled with tension.
Gojo looked at everyone, his gaze lingering on me with a worried look that gave wings to my heart. "I'll handle this."
Not again.
I hissed in annoyance and took a step forward, grabbing him by the collar. His eyes widened.
I shook him angrily. "You're not doing anything alone."
He grinned. "Why, when I can handle it alone?"
I glared at him, raising my eyebrows. "Because I said so."
Yuta stifled his laughter. Maki sighed. Yuji laughed out loud. We looked around the room. Then, we looked at each other and laughed.

We then got ready. I changed my clothes. As I took off my old jujutsu uniform and revealed my bare skin, he came from behind, and his warm breath against my skin made my legs weak like pudding.
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of him.
He kissed me on the shoulder. "I love you."
I raised my right hand and placed it on his cheek, kissing him on the forehead from the side. "I love you too."
We both put on compression shirts and joggers.
I let my fingers brush over his chest, and he blushed and grinned. "Don't be a cheeky girl now."
I laughed. "I haven't felt this for a year, so be quiet."
I turned around, and he smacked my butt hard.
I held the spot in pain. "Idiot."
He shrugged and stuck his tongue out.
