I stared impatiently at the special grade curse. I can’t forget the night. It’s stuck in my head.

Me inside her…

my grip tightened so much that I didn’t even notice I was hurting myself. I ran my hand through my hair. She just fell asleep because she was so drunk, but somehow she lasted till the end. Cheeky. I was her first, and somehow that made me happy; otherwise, I would have had to deal with jealousy. I sighed. The curse was jumping and screaming and laughing. I almost forgot.

There are strangely many out today... tsk. Too dangerous for my students. I snapped my fingers, and the curse was torn apart internally. I put my hands in my pockets and pondered and pondered.

She has something… something that feels good.

I noticed it when we first met.

She’s cheeky and untamed.

Wants to take everything from her father. She has been through a lot, but some of her traits resemble her father's… she doesn’t even notice it herself. When we woke up today, she threw up. I grinned. Her face still red, her head aching. She walked back and forth like a wobbly person without solid ground. The alcohol did her no good. She apparently forgot half of the evening but remembered bits and pieces.

I kept grinning.

My phone vibrated in my side pocket. It was the only sound filling the emptiness. I took out my phone, surprised to see it was Yaga.

I answered. “Yes, what is it?”

He sighed, annoyed, “I don’t know what’s going on in Tokyo today, but the curses are spreading more and more.”

What?

A bad feeling rose up.

I paced unconsciously. “The staff aren’t enough, are they?”

He sounded exhausted, “Yes, even I have to step in.”

I was surprised. Something’s off. Something’s wrong. So many curses in one day?

“Send me the locations; I’ll help out.”

He sent them all to me.

Damn it. Feels like shit.

This was terrible.

In nearly every district, there were about 30 curses, either high or low rank. This can’t be a coincidence. I need to investigate. I checked the time; if I hurried, I could be done by 11:31 PM. I cracked my neck and teleported to each location. The students were either fighting, injured, or worse, some were dead. Bystanders were also affected. Covering this up in the media would be difficult.
