I sat in my room, at my desk, staring at my notebook while twirling a pen in my hand, lost in thought. The flickering nightlight and the annoying buzz of a fly filled the room. I zapped the fly with a burst of electricity, turning it to ash on my desk with a sizzling sound.

Sighing, I leaned back in my chair, staring at the ceiling.

I had written down three options: 1. Run away and disappear, 2. Behave well and then ask to study abroad for university, 3. Get married (a marriage of convenience)...

Frustrated, I kicked my legs, tipping the chair over and landing on my back after an unintentional roll. My hair fell over my face, and I blew it away in annoyance.

Staring at the ceiling, the cold evening breeze flowed through the open window.

I stood up, irritated, and walked to the window, where I saw a figure in the dark on the street below. Squinting to see better without my glasses, I noticed a faint blue glow.

Blue?

It looked like two glowing blue lights. Suddenly, it hit me—it must be Gojo. I leaned out the window, squinting more, and heard laughter.

 Annoyed, I shouted, "Stop laughing!"

I sighed and moved to close the window when suddenly Gojo was crouched on my windowsill.

Startled, I fell back onto the floor, "Are you insane?!"

He rested his head on his hand, grinning widely. "I'm not, but I think someone is blind without her glasses."

I grabbed a pillow from my bed and threw it at his face, but his Infinity blocked it.

 "Weak attack," he mocked.

I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Easy to say when you have Infinity."

His grin widened, but what caught my attention was that he wasn't wearing his usual blindfold.

His eyes scanned my room, landing on my notebook. My heart sank, and I leaped to the desk, slamming the notebook shut and hiding it behind my back.

Blushing furiously, I hoped he couldn't see it in the dim light. He raised an amused eyebrow, and I swallowed hard, praying he hadn't seen anything.

He stepped into my room, his long leg crossing the threshold, and I realized how tall he was.

Tilting his head slightly, his voice took on a dangerous edge. "What is little Kanna hiding from me?"

I swallowed hard and stuffed the notebook into the waistband of my shorts at my back.

Noticing my action, his grin widened even more, as if he had wanted this all along.
