I jerked awake, blinking several times to clear my vision. The soft bed beneath me felt like a hospital bed... I smelled cigarettes, too many of them. Turning my head to the left, I saw her sitting at the desk, a cigarette in her mouth.
My eyes widened and I sat up abruptly. "Shoko?!"
She looked surprised and took the cigarette out of her mouth. "You're awake, Kanna."
I glanced around the room, then back at her.
A wave of joy washed over me. "I haven't seen you in six years..."
She smiled slightly and leaned back in her chair. "That's right... it's been six years..." She took a drag from her cigarette. "You disappeared after that."
A deep sadness rose within me, like a sword piercing my heart. I bit my lip and tightened my grip on the blanket. "Yeah... that had to do with something else..."
There was a brief silence.
She laughed softly. "I almost didn't recognize you when I saw you in Gojo's arms!"
I forced a smile, but what seemed funny to her ignited anger within me. Wait, Gojo... I looked at her in shock. "Right, he brought me here!"
She nodded, and I abruptly got out of bed. She looked surprised. "What are you doing?"
I gave her a determined look. "Leaving."

Using the wall for support, I walked down the corridor to the door. I opened it, and the evening air hit me, blowing my hair back. I pulled my jacket closer and squinted against the wind. Taking a deep breath, I continued walking. I remembered the severe panic attack. I bit my lower lip.
Bastard Kiyosaka—who would have thought he could influence my consciousness? He will pay for this! I stopped and punched the wall in frustration. That bastard... tsk. I sighed, the feeling of being back on Jujutsu grounds suffocating me. I wanted to leave...
A voice called from behind me. "Going somewhere this late?"
I turned around to see him leaning against the wall with one shoulder.
I scowled. "This is all your fault!"
He raised both eyebrows. "What is my fault?"
I scoffed. "Seriously? You brought me back!!" I waved my hand angrily.
He shook his head, pushed away from the wall, and put his hands in his pockets. He walked up to me, stopping just before me and looking down. His eyes glowed, dark and cold blue.
He whispered venomously, "It's your fault because you are weak."
I pressed my lips together in anger, my eyes blazing, fists clenched so tightly I thought they might bleed.
I stepped forward until my chest almost brushed his and spat out with fury, "You have no idea about me, and you call me weak?"
He scoffed. "You couldn't even conceal your cursed energy, and I found you."
Oh, that was it.
I jabbed my finger hard against his chest. "Not everyone is born with the Six Eyes and Limitless!" My voice rose, and I pushed him lightly. He stepped back, and I stepped forward, my finger still on his chest. "You. Have. No. Idea. About my miserable life, GOJO SATORU"
His eyes widened, and I noticed his expression change. It turned... hurtful. He grabbed my finger and pressed it painfully, but I ignored the pain. "Do you want others to pity you?"
My mouth hung open slightly. "What—"
This time he stepped forward, forcing me to step back. His voice grew quieter, and his gaze became ice-cold, freezing my veins. "You talk about my techniques? What do you know about anything?"
He kept advancing until my back was pressed against the wall. Muscle memory from Kiyosaka kicked in, and I tried to shove him away. But he was stronger and didn't budge an inch.
I looked up at him, seeing the anger in his eyes. "You think others would sympathize with you?"
I pushed harder against his chest, desperate because I felt like I couldn't breathe. "Gojo, please-"
His eyes widened when he saw my expression, and he quickly stepped back.
He ran a hand through his hair, struggling for words. "I didn't mean to scare you—.....I'm sorry."
I tried to calm myself and catch my breath, shaking my head. "I'm not afraid of you."
He looked confused, and then the voice of the person I feared, the one my body recognized, echoed from the other alley as he emerged. Kiyosaka stood there, a bandage over his eye, laughing darkly, his voice echoing through the streets. "Well, well, well, who do we have here!"
He shook his head, laughing, and I pressed myself against the wall in fear, struggling to breathe again.
He wagged his finger at me, laughing menacingly. "I sensed your presence but thought I was mistaken. I came to check anyway."
I looked to Gojo for help.
Kiyosaka noticed and looked surprised to see Gojo. "You're here too..."
