I couldn't believe it.

I had been watching her from afar with Yuji, but I kept my presence hidden. However, when she met that guy, I intentionally let her feel my presence, my murderous intent, but she continued to play with fire. I was dying of jealousy. I wanted to bite a rock out of frustration. And now I followed her to her date today. She wore a white, mid-length dress, white high heels, her hair tied back with a light pink ribbon. She looked stunning. I researched everything about the guy.

He was an exchange student from Korea. Hyun Lee, 25 years old, studying computer science. His criminal record interested me the most, and there were some interesting things there.

They met, sat down, she ordered, they talked and laughed. I leaned against a tree not far from them. I cracked my neck. I'll break his neck... The coffee was served. She laughed so heartily, it was as if the whole area lit up around her. He placed a hand on hers, and I froze. I'll kill him... I clenched my fists so tightly that my veins popped out.

He leaned forward and said something to her that made her look confused. That's enough. I teleported there and transported us to an empty spot in the park.

She took a shocked step back. "Gojo!"

He looked confused until I twisted the hand he had touched her with.

He screamed, and she yelled my name, "GOJO!"

I punched him in the face so many times that his handsome face was soon covered in blood. He lost a few teeth.

Just as I was about to hit him again, she stopped me, shocked, grabbing my arm. "Stop it!"

I gritted my teeth and let him fall to the ground. He could barely speak, let alone stand.

He crawled away on all fours, terrified. "Y-y-y...you...y-you...c-crazy...p-people..."

I gave him a murderous look, and he fled. I looked at her.

Her face was red with anger, and she took a step toward me. "What. The. Hell. Was. THAT?!"

I ignored her.

She screamed, "WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO INTERFERE IN MY LIFE?!"

I scoffed and stared at her incredulously. "The guy has a record of sexual assaults! Do you think I can just sit by quietly?"

She looked at me with disbelief and screamed again, "THAT GUY COULDN'T HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO ME. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN MORE DANGER BECAUSE OF ME!"

She was right, but still...

I looked away.

She made dramatic gestures with her hand. "YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE."

Ouch.

She stepped closer, grabbed my collar, and forced me to look her in the eyes. I got lost in her gaze, and my eyes unconsciously wandered to her lips.

She was so angry, her pupils dilated, she was breathing heavily. "I don't know what's wrong with you, but stop it."

I looked at her, puzzled. "What are you talking about?"

She gritted her teeth. "What am I talking about?" She pulled me closer, our noses almost touching. Her voice rose, her eyes filled with only anger. "I MEAN THE WAY YOU LEFT ME AFTER THAT NIGHT AS IF I WERE JUST YOUR HOE." I gasped. She sounded so hurt. She continued, shaking me slightly. "THE WAY YOU GIVE ME ATTENTION, AND WHEN I TAKE A STEP TOWARD YOU, YOU TAKE TEN STEPS AWAY FROM ME!"

Her eyes became glassy. She stopped shaking me and lowered her head. "Gojo..." Her voice was like a death sentence to me. "Please, if I'm just a pawn to you, stop this... say it now."

No, I wanted to say, you're my wife, my everything, my oxygen, my soul, you've driven me crazy, you've made me obsessed with your idiotic behavior . But the words never left my lips. I took her hand, and she looked up hopefully, but I pushed her away by activating my Infinity. In that moment, the light in her eyes went out. Her hands remained in the air where she had held my collar before.

I looked at her. "Kanna, to me, you were never more than a pawn." Her lips trembled, her eyes wide open. I can't do this... "I used you, and now I have no use for you anymore."

She let her arms fall to her sides, stunned. The pigeons flew away.

She laughed emptily. "Haha... right... now I remember what you said that night." She looked up with eyes I had never seen before. Hatred... A cold shiver ran down my spine. "You said you didn't love me."

Please stop... She suddenly absorbed my Infinity and slapped me so hard that my head whipped to the right. I held the spot in shock. I deserved that...

She looked so empty. "Goodbye, Gojo Satoru."

She turned and walked away. I stood there, rooted to the spot. I let my hand fall to my side. It feels like back then. "Are you the strongest because you're Gojo Satoru, or are you Gojo Satoru because you're the strongest?" I breathed in and out quickly. I sat down on the bench and ran a hand through my hair. "Goodbye, Gojo..." I held a hand over my mouth.

Oh God, what have I done?

The fear of being hurt by her turned me into an asshole. The words that left my lips have made things irreversible. What have I done... I was so focused on myself that I didn't want to see the truth. I destroyed it.

I tugged at my hair lightly, gritting my teeth. I need to talk to her again, but I'll wait until she calms down. The pigeon in front of me pecked at the bread and swallowed it.

How could I have said that

I leaned my head back and stared at the trees above me.
