YOUR POV:

"Is this the place?" Anna asks Hayato.

He nods, "yep. That's the farm."

After Hayato and Jin informed us of a nearby farm, it was decided that Hayato would lead me, Emma, Ray and Anna to the farm. Meanwhile, Jin would stay behind with the rest of our group.

"Are we sure we can even get in and out alive?" I ask staring at the building that was off in the distance.

Hayato gives a thumbs up, "this is a lower level mass-production farm. There shouldn't be a lot of surveillance. This place relies heavily on technology and there shouldn't be a lot of demons. As long as you avoid the sensors and cameras, we should be fine. But we'll need to keep quiet because the cameras pick up sound too."

Hayato walks over to the entrance in the ground and opens the door for us, "follow me."

We drop inside and are greeted by a sewer, or at least what appears to be one.

"Creepy," I trail off.

"That's why I told you to stay put," Ray speaks up.

I scoff, "and let you go on another adventure without? Puh-lease."

We continue to follow Hayato quietly throughout the facility. There was a lot of pressure on this mission, it had to go correctly. We go through the vents and Hayato ends up moving on of the air duct covers. He moves it aside and ties a rope before sliding down with us following.

"Alright, who's gonna get caught first?" I jokingly ask, "I'm betting it's me."

"You have no confidence in yourself do you?" Emma wonders as I simply smile.

Anna walks ahead of us but a fire of bullets flies past as we spot a demon.

"Humans?!" The demon wonders aloud.

"Get out of here!" Ray yells, "go!"

"I'll stay with him!" Hayato suggests, "once you get the medicine, come back the way we came in!"

The three of us run off to find the medicine while Hayato runs toward Ray. We quickly and quietly ran through the halls in search of a storage room, or even an infirmary.

And finally, we found the storage room.

It was large and packed with tall and looming shelves. "There's so many medicines..."I trail off, overwhelmed by how many shelves.

I had noticed that Anna and Emma had began to look each shelf while I stood there dumbfounded. I didn't even know where to begin looking.

"I found it!" Anna announces, "it's over here!"

Emma stops her search and runs over to Anna, she helps the girl up as I keep watch. The two returned with the medicine as we made our way toward the entrance we came through.

"They're going to be fine Anna," Emma smiles, "Ray will protect Hayato, not only that, Ray has to come back to Y/N. Otherwise, she'll be mad."

Anna smiles, "it's so nice that you and Ray are so close to each other after all these years."

Emma snickers, "actually they're more than friends."

"Emma!"

Anna's eyes widen, "h-huh? I-I mean I can't say I'm surprised, but when did this happen?"

"Emma, better yet, how did you know?!" I argue.

She smirks, "I am all wise."

"How many more people know?!" I continue, "does everyone?!"

She shrugs, "that's for me to know and for you to find out."

I huff, "god I hope you get killed next."

"Wait what?!"

We finally made it back to the sewer and ran down each corridors and eventually found the ladder that leads to the entrance. Emma went first as we followed behind her.

She lifts the entrance only to quickly shut it, "demons! There's a lot of them!" Emma yells, "you two need to get—!" The door was then torn off as a demon reached in and grabbed Emma.

"Emma!" I shouted as I tried to reach for her, but Anna pulled me into the shadows. "Let me go Anna! I have to go help her!"

"Are you crazy?! You could get yourself killed!"

I pull away from her grasp and grab one of my pistols, "but I was the one who said she should get killed. I-I have to make sure she doesn't!"

I step out of the shadows and begin to climb the ladder as I hear the demons talking to one another. How they spoke about Emma was so degrading, as if she wasn't human.

I took a breath and went to shoot, but I couldn't pull the trigger.

What if I hit Emma?

"This human is from Grace Field!"

"Let me have her!"

"No, no! Me!"

"Move aside!"

I saw a string of blood appear as Emma fell to the ground. I began to climb up the ladder in a hurry as I rushed to Emma's side, "you're okay!" I hug her tightly, "I'm so sorry!" I cry, "this is all my—!"

"They're one of us Zazie!" I hear Hayato exclaim, "they're good!"

When did..?

"Emma!" Anna runs over and hugs Emma's other side, "I was so scared!"

"H-Hayato, is he also apart of your family..?" Ray stutters out, gawking at the height of Zazie. I actually hadn't noticed him myself, so when I looked it was quite the surprise to me. A super tall guy with a paper bag over his head.

"Yeesss, this is Zazie. He's a confidant of Minerva's. He probably came because Jin and I were taking too long," Zazie places a hand atop of Hayato's head, "ow!"

Zazie looked away and removed his hand, seemingly now interested in a butterfly.

"Zazie is super strong, but nobody knows what he's thinking. Plus, he only obeys the boss...he's like a dog!" Hayato explains.

"We should get moving," Ray suggests, "more demons might show up. Anna, did you get the medicine?"

"Yep!"

"Zazie, come back with us!"
