A/N: *sigh* *turns on the kids from yesterday by mcr*
YOUR POV:
Emma popped her head out of the hole and climbed out soon after, "coast is clear. Let's go."
We each crawled out of the hole and saw a horizon of nothing before us.
Chris gasps, "it's huge!"
Don nods, "look at all that space!"
Sonju points at the land before us, "if you go south that way, you'll eventually reach your destination."
"No!" Alicia cries as she grabs hold of Mujika's cloak, "I don't want you leaving!"
"Can't you stay with us?!" Mark begs.
Ray places his hands onto Mark and Alicia's heads, "we can't depend on them. Besides, we have places to be."
I nod and add, "besides, don't think of it as goodbye, just think of it as we'll never see them again."
"That makes it worse!" Alicia and Mark cry in unison.
I shrug.
"As long as you walk through the wasteland, you won't run into any enemies. If it all goes well, you should be able to reach Minerva by tonight," Sonju admits. The demon then looks at Nat, Thoma and Lannion, "make sure to stay away from the forest or water."
"Got it!" The three say.
"Be careful," Sonju warns.
"Hey Emma!" Ray calls as the red haired girl and Mujika pull away from their hug, "you ready to go?!"
Emma nods and puts her hand into her pants pocket before she runs over, "goodbye Mujika and Sonju!" She waves, "thank you so much!"
Mujika waves goodbye, "let's meet again!"
We then take off toward the wasteland. The walk down the land wasn't awful nor all too terrible. But the walk to Bo6-32 was what was truly awful. It felt like we were walking in circles despite the fact that we weren't. The sun went high into the sky before setting and soon disappearing as the moon came out.
"How much longer?" Mark groans, "are we getting close?"
"Emma, what are our coordinates?" Ray asks the girl.
She pulls out the pen, "let me see." She fidgets with the pen as the screen appears showing our location—Bo6-32.
"We're here..!" Emma gasps.
"If we are," I say looking around, "then where is it?"
"Is there anyone around Nat?" Ray asks as he pulls out his binoculars and shakes his head after looking.
"S-So then Mr. Minerva isn't here?!" Alicia exclaims.
The younger ones then began to scream and complain about how William Minerva was a liar, and that he would be here if he wasn't.
Ray just watched the kids throw their temper tantrum for a while, and then he sighed, "you done?"
They all nodded.
"Listen, if Minerva is constantly going from this world to the other, it makes sense why he won't be here. Plus, even if there aren't demons in this area, he can't have a sign out saying there are humans who live here," Ray explains to the younger kids.
Ray looks over at Emma and asks for the pen, to which she gives it to him. "Before N/N took the pen from me—," Ray starts as I cross my arms with a pout, "I saw the rest last night."
