A day with him

Caia's POV

It's a beautiful Saturday morning and we have a date today. :)

I am finally getting ready, I think sa park lang kame pupunta so I wear a pair of jonie jeans and white sando and denim polo to match my look. I also braided some part of my hair. And naglagay ng konting makeup. Pwede na siguro to diba?

Now I am just waiting for Dylan to come and get me.

Atlast, a car stopped outside our house. It's funny lang kase I think it's not the car naman of Dylan. So dali-dali akong bumaba and went out.

Then lumabas siya sa door and smirk a little dahil nakita niya sigurong gulong-gulo akong makita siya. Kase nga diba si Dylan hinihintay ko.

"Why is your face so puzzled Cai? Am I not worthy to see?"

"Hindi naman sa ganun Nash, It's just that I was expecting someone else."

"Ah you mean my cousin?" WHAT? COUSIN? Wtf is this guy talking about.

"Hah? Whose cousin are you talking about Nash? Niloloko mo ba ako?" Then he started laughing. Is this a good or a bad sign?

"Sorry I did not intoduce myself to you properly. Yes, I am Dylan and Michael's cousin. Nasa looks naman diba? Hahahaha" what? @@ is he serious?

"Seriously? Pinsan mo yung dalawa? Ano ba naman, ang liit liit ng mundo. Eh bat parang hindi kayo close tatlo?"

"Hindi talaga kase I didn't grew up here. Eh sila they grew up together." Ohhh that's why.

"Would you mind Nash, if I ask you na bakit ka andito instead of Dylan? May important matter na naman ba?"

"Unfortunately, yes. Kaya no choice siya kundi ipapunta ako dito sayo to accompany a beautiful young lady to the amusement park. ;)" aww bakit? Eh mas gugustuhin ko pang matulog na lang sa bahay kung hindi din naman si Dylan yung kasama.

Napansin yata ni Nash "Uhm, are you alright? Sorry ha if I came here only to disappoint you--asdffghjkl--" ano daw? Ay nvm na

"Uhm, no it's alright sige let's go?" I faked a smile and hope he does not sense that it's fake.

On the way to the park I felt so bored and wants to go home all of a sudden.

But I kept my jolly side up for the sake of Nash :)

"So uhm Nash, where would you want to go first? I would like to go to the ferris wheel, is that okay?"

"Sure, this day will be up to you Cai. Your decision. I'm just your bodyguard today."

"Wag ka ngang corny, you are still my friend. So you can consider this as a friendly day out"

"Okay friend. Haha come on" It really suits when he smile just like Dylan. :) I wonder where he is though, hoping that important thing is really important.

Pagkasakay namin sa ferris wheel parang nacurious na lang tuloy ako tungkol kay Nash.

"So uhm Nash, can I ask some questions?"

"You're already asking me. Hahaha kidding aside. Sure Cai. :) I can sense that you're curious."

"Hahaha oh my, really? So uhm, what brought you here in the Philippines?" Hahaha I know lame talaga ang question na to but still hahaha gusto ko paring malaman ang reason kung bakit sila pumunta pa dito sa Pilipinas kung mabuti naman ang pamumuhay nila sa ibang bansa diba?

"Uhm, business matters." Yun lang? Then parang uneasy siya and then looked away.

"So ano pala yung important matter na pinuntahan ni Dylan? May alam ka ba?"

"Wala akong alam. Ang sabi niya lang may important matter and pinapunta niya ako to fetch you and to bring you to this park."

"Ah okay Nash. :) Let's go to the next ride? Thank you for answering though." Kahit napakabitin at parang feel ko alam mo. Sige na nga lang. Hahaha grabe bait ko talaga.

After the last ride I felt so exhausted. Grabe nakakapagod rin pala yung ganito nuh? Akala ko enjoy-enjoy and relax lang. So ayun nagyaya si Nash na kumain muna kame before niya ako ihahatid sa bahay.

Going home, it was serene. Parang comfortable lang kame sa isa't isa. I know it's weird pero pag nakikita ko siya para talaga siyang si Dylan. Pero iba pa rin dating nung mokong na yun saakin. Hays miss ko na siya, ano ba kase yung important matter na yun. Pag yun tungkol pa kay kellie naku naku naku patay yun saakin.

We reached my home, and I bid my thank yous and goodnight to Nash. Then off he go.

As I walk in to our gate may biglang humablot ng kamay ko papunta dun sa gilid kaya hindi ko na nasubaybayan yung palayo ng kotse ni Nash. Masyado akong nagulat dahil yung dapat kasama ko kanina sa park ay nandito sa harapan ko. Pero bakit parang may mali? Bakit parang malungkot siya? Diba dapat masaya siya kasi nakita niya ako? Baka pagod lang siguro to... Sana

"Cai I tr--"

Pinutol ko muna yung sasabihin niya sa isang matamis na halik sa labi. Hindi ko alam pero feeling ko hindi matatapos ang gabing ito na maganda. Kaya ni-divert ko muna yung sasabihin niya.

"Alam mo sayang wala ka kanina, lahat siguro ng rides nasakyan namin ni Nash. Masaya pero laging may kulang eh, paano ba kase yung pinakamamahal ko wala dun at---" pinutol niya rin yung sasabihin ko

"Cai, please stop. I know what you're doing. But I really need to say these Cai."

"Dylan please not tonight, please... :(" Is he finally leaving me, pero bakit?

"I'm in an arranged marriage situation Caia. And I tried my best to cancel all of it. Pero it's set. May plano pa naman ako, pero baka tatanggalin nila saakin ang company at pag nangyari yun ayokong maghirap tayo Cai. Kaya pinagiisipan kong mabuti ang gagawin ko. If you would atleast give me time to sort things out." What? IS HE REALLY?

"How? Whose the girl Dylan?

*he hust stares at me*

"WHOSE THE GIRL??!!! Fuck, IS IT KELLIE?" He just nodded and looked away

"Wala talagang magawa sa buhay yung babaeng yun. Did you tell your mom na may girlfriend ka?

"I am so sorry Cai pero they thought na si Kellie pa rin ang girlfriend ko hanggang ngayon. I tried clarifying things but they won't listen to me."

"So you are telling me this is it? We are over? Done? You are finally giving me up? I really thought this day would turn out right because it was just 3 weeks since we got back together again after the fight."

"I'm so sorry Cai but I have to go she is calling me already." I looked at his ringer and there it is, a ringg.

"Dylan? What's that on your ring finger?"

"Nothing Cai, I have to go. But I will still see you, right? I still love you. And I will try my best to fight for you." And then I saw tears escaped his eyes as he run toward his car and drove away.

While I was here rooted from where I was standing, left confused and so many unanswered questions in my mind. Will he really leave me just like that? Then tears suddenly fell across my face. I started sobbing in my spot. I don't know if what I saw was right but I think Nash was here the whole time.
