Following the gala, the girls made their way back to their dorm, their footsteps echoing softly in the empty hallway.
"I can't believe how quickly the night went by," Carissa remarked, a wistful tone in her voice.
"Yeah, it feels like it was over in a blink," Artemisia agreed, a hint of disappointment in her expression.
As they reached their room, the girls settled in, exchanging tired but contented smiles. It had been a memorable evening, filled with laughter, dancing, and unexpected twists.
"I don't know about you all, but I'm ready to crash," Crystal announced, stifling a yawn.
"Agreed," Lithia chimed in, already heading towards her room.
With a collective sigh, the girls bid each other goodnight as they headed to their rooms.
"Tonight was truly enchanting, Danielle," Luna remarked as she changed into her pyjamas.
"I'd rather not hear about how you and my brother hit it off," Danielle remarked with a disgusted expression.
Luna chuckled. "Don't fret, Danielle. It was just a friendly chat, nothing more. But speaking about being friendly, what about Alistair? Do you like him?"
"Isn't it a bit early to tell?" Danielle laughed nervously.
"Well, the other girls seem to be hitting it off with their dance partners, even Lithia. So why not?" Luna encouraged.
Danielle blushed, her cheeks warming at the mention of Alistair's name. "Um, maybe a little," she admitted shyly. "He seemed nice."
Luna grinned. "Nice? That's a start! Maybe you'll get to know him better."
Danielle shrugged, attempting to downplay her interest. "Maybe. We'll see."
Luna raised an eyebrow teasingly. "Oh, come on, Danielle. Don't be so coy. I can tell you're curious."
With a playful roll of her eyes, Danielle replied, "Alright, fine. Maybe I am a little curious."
Luna grinned triumphantly. "I knew it!"
Danielle chuckled. "Alright, you win. Now can we go to sleep?"
Luna nodded, still smiling. "Sure, let's get some rest. Goodnight, Danielle."

The next day at Cloud Tower, a group of witches lined up to greet Scarlett, Electra, and Tasma on their way to class.
"We heard about what you did to those fairies and the specialists at Alphea! It was so cool," they praised.
Scarlett, Electra, and Tasma beamed at the praise, relishing in the validation of their actions.
"Thanks," Scarlett responded, her tone oozing with confidence. "That's just a glimpse of what we're capable of."
As the group of witches dispersed, leaving the trio to stride confidently to their next class, Scarlett couldn't resist adding, "And mark my words."
"About time we get the recognition we deserve," Tasma chimed in, a satisfied grin spreading across her face as they caught the admiring glances of passing students.
"But we still have unfinished business with our fairy friends," Electra stated firmly.
"And we'll handle them accordingly," Scarlett added, clenching her fist. As they entered the classroom for their next lesson, they were met with eager chatter from their fellow witches.
