At Alphea~
After their class, Danielle, Crystal, Carissa, and Lithia decided to hang out in the courtyard, waiting for Luna and Artemisia.
"I like clouds. They look like cotton candy," Crystal remarked, breaking the silence after a while of cloud gazing.
"I can assure you that they aren't cotton candy but, in fact, water vapour," Lithia interjected.
"Sheesh, Lithia. Don't think I didn't know that," Crystal frowned at her.
"It's just harmless information." Lithia shrugged.
"It's fun to see what shapes they form," Carissa quickly added, hoping to steer the conversation away from the potential disagreement. Danielle laughed.
"The next thing I'll be hearing is how you want to eat a cloud," Lithia continued teasingly.
"What's wrong with that?" Crystal retorted, placing her arms on both sides. Lithia chuckled, clearly enjoying Crystal's reaction.
"Hey, girls," Artemisia greeted as she and Luna approached.
"How was potionology?" Lithia inquired.
"It was interesting," Artemisia replied, hugging her book to her chest.
"By 'interesting,' you mean an absolute disaster?" Luna frowned. "Is it just me who isn't getting the hang of this?"
"Don't be too hard on yourself. With time, it will come naturally," Danielle reassured her.
"Yeah, whatever. Why don't we all go to Magix?" Luna suggested, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, I am kind of hungry," Crystal said, and the girls agreed to Luna's suggestion and made their way to Magix.

Once they arrived in Magix, they decided to stop by a cosy café and order sandwiches. As they waited for their food, Luna broke the silence with a curious question.
"You know, there's something I've been really curious about. Is anyone here dating already?"
The table fell into an uncomfortable silence, prompting a grin from Crystal.
"Well, that's unusual," she remarked, breaking the tension.
"Hey, don't forget about the gala," Luna interjected. "You girls were all over the boys from Red Fountain, and I think they felt the same way too."
"Focus on your relationship with Danielle's brother," Lithia replied.
"Of course, I quite like Daniel," Luna admitted with a smile. "He's just so gentle and caring."
"Stop!" Danielle exclaimed, horrified, while Luna just giggled.
"Carissa, I saw you with Darian, Crystal with Caspian, Artemisia was all over Thorne, and Lithia, surprisingly too. And let's not forget Danielle and Alistair," Luna teased.
The girls laughed at Luna's teasing, their embarrassment evident but also their amusement.
"Okay, okay," Carissa said with a playful grin. "Maybe we were a little too enthusiastic."
"It was just a fun night," Crystal added, shrugging.
"And they were nice," Artemisia laughed.
Just then, their sandwiches arrived, and they eagerly dug in, enjoying each other's company and the lively atmosphere of the café.

Meanwhile, at Cloud Tower, the three witches had already begun their plan. They stealthily entered the Cloud Tower archives, an area strictly off-limits to students.
"I'm certain there's something here that seems worthwhile. Search everywhere," Scarlett mused as she scanned the dimly lit room. With a determined expression, she began searching through the dusty shelves, her fingers trailing over ancient tomes and scrolls.
Electra and Tasma joined her as they sifted through the various documents.
"I got it," Electra replied, her gaze focused intently on the rows of books lining the shelves.
"What's that?" Tasma called out, pointing to a glowing book on a pedestal.
"It seems interesting," Scarlett said as they approached the book. Suddenly, words began to appear on its pages, illuminating the dim room.
The inscription presented a cryptic message, inscribed in an unfamiliar language.
"What's it saying?" Electra inquired, her gaze fixed on the glowing script.
"It appears to be a spell," Tasma responded, her brow furrowed with concentration.
Scarlett leaned in closer, scrutinising the arcane symbols. "Call me crazy, but I think the book is telling us something. Girls, let's cast the spell."
Excitement and anticipation filled the air as the three witches prepared to cast the mysterious incantation.
The three witches seated themselves on the floor, arranging the book in the centre before joining their heads together. With focused determination, they began to recite the incantation. As they chanted, the room became filled with an otherworldly glow.
After the glow subsided, an object resembling a broken talisman materialised, hovering in the air above the book, as if waiting for something to complete it.
"What's that?" Tasma questioned, and right on cue, the book flipped open to a page displaying a picture of the complete talisman.
"The eye of the ancestress" Electra read out loud from the book, "It needs to be completed before we can access its power; the talisman will have to be joined with its other half."
"Then let's track down the second half and discover the potential of this trinket," Tasma declared with determination.
Scarlett nodded in agreement. "We need to find out what power this talisman holds and how we can use it to our advantage."
"Let's see if we can find out the location of the other half," Electra suggested as they cast a location spell. Soon, a holographic image of Alphea, the fairies' school, appeared before them.
"It's at Alphea? What's it doing there?" Tasma questioned, surprised.
"We'll have to find out," Electra replied, determination etched on her face. "We have to retrieve the other half of the talisman, but how?"
"Don't worry, girls. We'll come up with a plan," Scarlett assured as they vanished from the archives.
