Two days later~
When the departure day arrived, the two friends gathered and began to pack their bags for their journey to Alphea, a renowned magic school for fairies.
As they sorted through their belongings, there was a sudden knock on the door. Danielle glanced at Luna, unsure of the sound she heard.
Sure enough, Daniel entered the room with a mischievous grin, his eyes lighting up as they landed on Luna. "Hey, Luna," he greeted, his tone laced with playful charm. "Need any help with your packing?" Danielle rolled her eyes, and she continued folding her clothes.
Luna chuckled softly at Daniel's offer, exchanging a knowing glance with Danielle. "Thanks, Daniel, but I think we've got it covered," she replied, her tone friendly yet firm.
Danielle couldn't help but roll her eyes at her brother's antics. "Actually, Daniel, we're kind of in a hurry," she interjected, gesturing towards their half-filled suitcases. "So, if you don't mind..."
Daniel feigned a look of disappointment, though there was a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. "Alright, alright, I'll leave you ladies to it. See you in Magix," he relented, offering Luna a playful wink before turning to leave the room.
As soon as the door closed behind him, Danielle let out a sigh of relief. "At least we won't have to deal with his charm all the time."
"What did Daniel mean by 'See you in Magix'? Are boys fairies too?" Luna asked, her curiosity evident in her voice.
"No, he's going to Red Fountain, a school for heroics and bravery," Danielle explained, a hint of pride in her voice. "He's training to be a skilled mage, unlike us fairies."
Danielle and Luna focused once more on their packing, eager to complete their preparations for their upcoming journey to Alphea. With their suitcases finally packed and ready, Danielle and Luna made their way to the grand entrance of the palace, where a zeppelin awaited them.
As they entered, the coachman greeted them with a respectful nod. "Your Highness, Miss Luna," he addressed them, "your transport to Alphea awaits."
"Thank you," Danielle replied with a smile, gesturing for Luna to enter the seat first. Luna made herself comfortable, excited that she was going to travel by zeppelin again. She took her time, marvelling at the plush seats and elegant decor inside.
Once they were both settled, the pilot closed the zeppelin door and took his place in the cockpit. Soon the airship took off on a journey that would lead them to Alphea.
As they travelled, Danielle and Luna chatted excitedly about their expectations for the upcoming school year. They discussed their hopes and dreams, eager to embark on this new adventure together.
After a few hours of travelling, the carriage finally arrived at Alphea. The school's grand gates loomed before them, welcoming them to a world of magic and learning.
"Here we are," Danielle said, her voice filled with anticipation as the zeppelin's door opened. She and Luna stepped out onto the cobblestone pathway, taking in the sight of the towering spires and bustling courtyard.
"Welcome to Alphea, Luna," Danielle said, turning to her friend with a bright smile. "I have a feeling we're going to have an amazing time here."
As Danielle and Luna made their way through the courtyard, they couldn't help but notice the flurry of activity around them. Girls from all corners of the magical realm were arriving for the new school year, some emerging from shimmering portals while others arrived in enchanted carriages, each accompanied by their own luggage.
Excited chatter filled the air as students reunited with old friends and made new acquaintances. The courtyard buzzed with energy as everyone eagerly anticipated the adventures and challenges that awaited them at Alphea.
