Over the next few days, the girls continued with their daily activities while the investigation into the mysterious monster came to a close after a series of dead ends. Alphea had another continuous assessment scheduled just two weeks before the midterm. The atmosphere in the school was a mix of relief and anticipation as students focused on their studies and upcoming exams.
During the continuous assessment week, tensions were high as students prepared for their exams and projects. Meanwhile, Luna found herself increasingly distracted by thoughts of her potential royal lineage. The girls, ever supportive, rallied around her, offering encouragement and help with studying whenever they could.
Finally, they completed their tests, as they left the examination hall, the girls gathered in the courtyard, exchanging nervous glances and discussing how they felt about their performance.
"I think I did okay," Carissa said, adjusting her bag on her shoulder. "But that last question was tricky."
Artemisia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I struggled with that too. But overall, I'm just glad it's over."
Lithia, usually confident in her abilities, seemed unusually quiet. "I hope I didn't mess up on the test. It felt like time flew by so fast."
Crystal, ever the optimist, flashed a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, guys. We've studied hard. I'm sure we did fine."
"I hope so," Luna murmured,
"We just have to wait for the results" Danielle said. As they chatted, the bell rang, signaling the end of the day's classes. They headed back to their dormitory, eager to relax after a long day of testing.
The next day, the girls found themselves summoned to the headmistress's office unexpectedly. An air of anticipation hung in the air as they gathered inside.
"So, are I am heading back home already? School isn't over yet," Danielle queried, her voice betraying a mix of surprise and curiosity.
"Yes, your mother has requested special permission for all of you to visit Eraklyon after your tests. She says she would like to see you all" the headmistress explained calmly, "The airship will be arriving shortly, so I suggest you start packing."
The girls exchanged intrigued glances, their minds abuzz with questions about the sudden trip. As they exited the headmistress's office, Artemisia voiced their collective thoughts.
"What do you think this could be about? It's not every day we're summoned to visit another realm," she mused.
Lithia nodded thoughtfully. "Especially right after our tests. It must be something urgent."
"I'm almost certain it's related to Luna's origins," Carissa chimed in. "That would explain the sudden summons."
"Yeah, my mother can be very impulsive sometimes," Danielle added with a sigh
