"Okay, so you didn't find the second half?" Electra asked again, her voice tinged with frustration as she leaned over the crystal ball. Amara as Serenity contacted the witches to recounted her experience the night before.

"Well, yes, I didn't," Amara admitted, her image flickering within the crystal ball. "But I'm telling you, the Headmistress has a secret archive in her office. I sensed something powerful from one of the chests there. It has to be the other half of the talisman."

Scarlett, pinching the bridge of her nose in exasperation, spoke up. "Amara, you better not be serious. You had one job."

Tasma, who had been silent until now, shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, all she needs to do is go back there again to confirm."

"That would be an issue," Amara said, her tone wary. "The headmistress caught me in her office. It would be kind of difficult going back there again."

"Gosh, Amara, you are so infuriating!" Scarlett sighed, throwing her hands up in frustration. "Do you even realize how much is at stake here?"

Electra, with a look of resignation, recounted the facts. "So you didn't find the other half, and the Headmistress caught you?"

Amara nodded reluctantly. "Yes, that's correct. But listen, if you could give me the other half of the talisman, my search for the remaining piece would be much easier. I could use that one to locate the other half."

Tasma snorted, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. "You're joking, right?" The three witches exchanged glances before bursting into mocking laughter.

"So you could have all the power to yourself?" Electra sneered. "As if. Here's the new plan: the head witch will release us from our punishment at mid-term. Alphea will also be on mid-term break, making it the perfect time to sneak into the school."

Amara felt a pang of frustration at the lack of trust her fellow witches showed her. "So, what do I do in the meantime?" she asked, trying to mask her irritation.

"You will continue your role as Serenity at Alphea," Scarlett instructed, her tone dripping with authority. "When we arrive, you will lead us to where you believe the talisman is hidden. You better hope your deduction is right," she added with a menacing undertone.

Serenity's image flickered with a mix of resolve and unease. "Understood," she said finally, her voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "I'll be ready when you arrive."

As the crystal ball dimmed, the witches exchanged determined looks. The plan was set, and the countdown to mid-term had begun.

"I found something!" Lithia exclaimed excitedly in the dorm. The girls quickly gathered around her, eager to see what she had discovered.

"Look at this," Lithia said, pointing to the screen. The image showed the picture of a ring.

"I don't want to be a buzzkill, but what does that have to do with Luna's birth parents? It's just a ring," Crystal said skeptically.

"Except, it's not just a ring," Lithia chuckled. "It's the sword ring of Solaria. In the image I captured, that was the only recognizable thing the system picked up."
