"I can't believe we're already heading back to Alphea," Crystal sighed, her eyes following the distant stars as the airship sailed through the night sky. They had just made a brief stop at Eraklyon to drop off Danielle's mother.
"Well, we still have classes to attend and midterm projects to receive," Lithia reminded them, eliciting a groan from Crystal that made everyone laugh.
The girls were scattered throughout the cabin of the airship, each lost in her own thoughts. Luna admired the ring her parents had given her. The recent whirlwind of events had been overwhelming, but she felt a profound sense of fulfillment. She finally knew her true identity: the fairy of the sun and moon.
Carissa, sitting nearby, glanced over at Luna with a smile. "What are you looking at?"
Luna turned to Carissa with a playful grin. "I don't know; why don't you take a look?" She extended her hand, showcasing the ring.
Carissa's eyes widened in awe. "Wow, they gave you the ring!"
"Yep," Luna replied with a satisfied nod.
Carissa examined the ring closely, her admiration evident. "It's stunning. I can't believe you're the fairy of the sun and moon!"
Luna smiled warmly. "Neither can I, but it feels like I'm finally where I'm meant to be. I just wish I could have met them sooner."
The rest of the girls gathered around, eager to see the ring. Artemisia asked, "So, what's next for you, Luna?"
Luna looked at her friends with a grateful smile. "For now, I'm looking forward to reconnecting with all of you and returning to our normal routines. I also need to update my adopted parents on everything that's happened. But I'm genuinely excited to explore my heritage and see where this new chapter leads."
As the airship sailed smoothly through the sky, the girls continued to chat until the view outside gradually shifted to the familiar sights of Alphea.
The airship descended at Alphea, its soft hum fading into silence. The girls gathered their belongings and stepped out of the aircraft.
As they disembarked, they were greeted by the familiar faces of the headmistress and the assistant headmistress, waiting to welcome them back.
"Welcome back, girls," the headmistress said warmly, her eyes twinkling with evening light. "I trust your journey was enlightening."
"It was incredible," Danielle replied, a bright smile on her face. "We have so much to share."
"I'm glad to hear that," the assistant headmistress said. "But first, let's get you all settled back in. I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on."
The girls nodded, exchanging knowing looks. As they walked towards their dormitories, they continued to chat, the familiar sounds of the Alphea campus filling the air around them.
"It's good to be back," Carissa said, taking a deep breath of the crisp, fresh air.
"Indeed," Luna agreed, her fingers brushing over the sword ring of Solaria. "But it feels like everything is different now."
"Different in a good way," Lithia added, smiling at Luna.
"Yeah, I feel like I can take on anything," Luna continued, feeling a newfound strength and confidence.
