Breaking Free is the debut mini-album of Aphr0dite (Formed through Hybe survival show Fearlessness 101). It was released on January 16th, 2024. It consists of intro track Aphrodite,title track Adios,and B-sides I Don't Miss U, Love is Dead, and Heroine.
What is the lore for this release? This debut marks the beginning of the journey of Aphrodite, who is (naturally) the main character of any Aphr0dite lore, and is represented by all of the members. The beginning of the story shows a version of Aphrodite that is tired of only being seen for her beauty. In frustration, she goes down to earth. In the lore, she promises to herself to never fall in love with anyone else again, which is why most of the songs on the album appear as breakup songs. Aphrodite, the intro track, provides an exception to this rule, acting as a prologue to the story.
