FLASHBACK

The scene flashed back to a time when Calliope dozed off against a wall, while Mikan went around asking everyone about the day. Natsume couldn't help but notice Calliope napping silently.

Curiously, he found himself drawn to her, experiencing a strange sense of connection he couldn't quite explain. As he observed her, confused by his own feelings, Calliope suddenly sneezed. Natsume turned his attention towards her as he stood up, grabbed a nearby blanket, and placed it gently over her body, all while remaining unnoticed.

With a furrowed brow and a perplexed expression, Natsume muttered quietly to himself, "Who are you really... ?"

His gaze fixated on Calliope, and he found himself wondering about the deeper mysteries that surrounded her.

The scene shifted, now presenting a different moment in time.

Calliope turned toward Natsume, holding a plate with a mochi ice cream filling. "Hey," she began, "This mochi has an ice cream filling. You can eat it if you're feeling hungry or want something sweet."

With a swift movement, she placed the plate on the table before hastily departing. Natsume watched her go before turning his attention to the mochi. He picked it up and took a bite, savoring the chewy texture and the unexpected surprise of ice cream inside, despite the cold weather.

Natsume, savoring the taste of the mochi, found himself enjoying the unexpected treat despite the cold weather. As he took another bite, he couldn't help but think,

'Why would she give me something like this in this cold weather'

A smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth.

"What a fool," he silently muttered to himself.

Tsubasa nervously held up a small packet of a sticky powder, sweat beading on his forehead as he confessed his prank.

"This is sticky powder," he explained, "I was pranked with this before, stuck to a chicken of all things. It's quite popular in the Junior section, and it's just like... I decided to play a trick on you guys and put it in your new year's mochi!" Tsubasa let out a nervous laugh, his voice trembling slightly.

Calliope's eyes grew cold and hardened, her gaze fixated on Tsubasa, causing him to flinch involuntarily.

"Calm down, Calliope-chan," Tsubasa stammered, trying to downplay the intensity of Calliope's glare. "Your glare is frightening."

"Tsubasa-Senpai baka!" Mikan exclaims

Tsubasa had secretly added the sticky powder to the ingredients of the mochi, aware of the unique effect it would have on those who consumed it.

After eating the same mochi, the cells in their bodies acted as magnets, causing the individuals to automatically stick together.

The effect will wear off after an hours and it's not big deal.

Calliope sighed, realizing that her presence had altered the scene and led to this unusual situation. and its because of her.

Calliope's eyes widened in realization as she suddenly asked Natsume, "Natsume, did you eat the mochi I gave you?"

Natsume's eyes widened slightly, and he averted his gaze uncomfortably.

"I... I needed something sweet for my tongue because I drank hot soup," he explained, maintaining a calm expression,

"Your mochi was terrible anyway."

"Eh, but when I ate it, it was definitely delicious!" Calliope protested indignantly. Suddenly, an envelope slipped from Mikan's sleeve, falling to the ground.
