chapter - 7 ( Reaction)

"Stop..." said taehyung and pushed Jungkook little bit when he couldn't breathe properly.

Jungkook laughed and let taehyung go from his embrace.

Taehyung touched his swollen lips and hissed feeling slight pain. He couldn't face the general and layed down on the other side facing the wall making Jungkook laugh again.

Next morning taehyung woke up and got surprised seeing The general beside him. Usually he wakes up early and go for his sword practice.

He looked the his husband and couldn't help but admire. He saw the general was sweating a lot. He took a cloth and went to wipe the sweat on his neck but to his surprise he got attacked by him.

Jungkook held his throat with his right hand tightly before opening his eyes.

Taehyung got panicked and slapped Jungkook's hand to get rid of the grip.

Jungkook opened his eyes, he immediately left his throat after realised it was taehyung.

Taehyung immediately got away from him falling from the bed. His started crying and started getting away from him.

Jungkook went close to him apologising for his act but taehyung didn't listen and started getting away from while screaming " Don't hurt me please, stay aw..ay from me....it hurts"

Jungkook was surprised seeing his reaction it's like taehyung wasn't in his sense he tried to cupped taehyung's cheeks but he violently started shaking while keep screaming not to hurt him.

Jimin came inside hearing taehyung's scream and saw him crying on the floor at the corner of the room while Jungkook was in the middle standing.

" Take care of him " Jungkook told him and went out of the room.

" Taehyung it's me your hyung, are you okay? " Jimin carefully went close to taehyung.

Taehyung was sobbing loudly while hiding his face in his palms. Jimin held him head and started caressing telling him everything is fine.

It took taehyung an hour to calm down and he hugged jimin.

After practicing sword for three hours Jungkook finally stopped. He sat on the ground breathing heavily remembering taehyung's face.

He didn't mean to choke taehyung it was his self defence reflexes. He grew up in war zone, where you never know when you will get attacked. His is trained to attack anyone who come close to him specially when he is sleeping.

One of the reason why he hesitate to marry for a long time. He didn't know if he could treat the person like a normal husband.

But at the age of 26 he started craving for a family. A wife, few kids, he also wanted live like a normal person.

he was suppressing his desire because of his future plans but suddenly minister daehyung came to him with this deal and he thought why not ? It's not like he can't protect his family.

Taehyung is scared of him now, first he saw him stabbing a person mercilessly and now he himself got attacked.

He didn't know how to face taehyung now, the way taehyung behaved wasn't just a normal reaction, he was terrified.

Maybe he made a mistake marrying taehyung, he was too innocent for him or he just needed time.

He was in his thoughts when he felt someone coming towards him.

He looked up to see taehyung coming towards him with a bucket.

He stayed in his place firmly not knowing how to react. Why taehyung is here ?

Taehyung sat infront of him and put the bucket down. It has wet towel like clothes on it.

Taehyung took one of the wet cloth and started wiping his sweat carefully not meeting his gaze.

He was about to wipe his neck Jungkook held his hand.

" It's okay. You don't have to force yourself to stay close to me.

I apologise for the earlier incident, it was my reflexes I couldn't stop myself.

But I just want to let you know that I will never hurt you. I can't even think about hurting you in my senses. "

Taehyung head everything and sighed. He held removed Jungkook's hand from his own and started wiping his neck.

He said " I am not forcing myself to stay close you. I am close to you cause I want to.

It's not your fault. It's my fault for reacting like that. I should have been more sensible. I apologise for making you upset my lord. "

Jungkook held both of his hands and said" It's not your fault. Any normal person would have get scared so don't apologise.
It's my fault I should have been more careful around you. "

" So you are not upset with my anymore? " asked taehyung making Jungkook smile.

" I can never be upset with my strawberry " said Jungkook kissing his forehead.

Taehyung felt shy under his gaze and decide to run. He said " breakfast is ready " and started running towards the dinning room.

Jungkook couldn't help but laugh at his cuteness.

Jimin was outside for some work and taehyung was sitting in the courtyard along with min he and Jin he.

He was thinking about his reaction in the morning. When the general left the room leaving him with jimin he realised how upset his husband was cause of his reaction.

His heart clenched thinking about the general. He is so nice to him even brought strawberries for him and in return he looked at him like he is a terrible person.

He came out of his thoughts when min he asked him " master, what happened in the morning ? We got so scared thinking the general was hitting you become of your screaming. We wanted to go inside but jimin only he was allowed to go in a situation like this. "

Taehyung thought min he cared about him and said " lord didn't hit me or something. I was just experiencing a horrible dream. "

Min he and Jin he looked at each other and thought taehyung was laying to hide the fact that the general didnt liked him.

" Master do you want to write a letter to your family to let them know that you are doing well " Jin he asked taehyung who went blank hearing this.

He didn't want to talk to them anymore. He is good without remembering them. He said
" No. No need to write. "

Min he and Jin he did write a letter though to minji. To let her know taehyung's every move like how taehyung and the general didnt had any intimacy or how the general hit taehyung in the morning.

Minji was really happy reading the letter. She the general didnt liked taehyung at all and she decided to go to the royal bouquet with jiwoo knowing taehyung will be there.

She was exited to see taehyung's state.

One the other hand jimin came back from the market and went to taehyung.

He opened all the things he brought for taehyung. A beautiful royal blue colour outfit with matching jwellery.

Taehyung was surprised he didn't know jimin will buy so many things just for the royal bouquet.

Jimin saw his face and said " The general asked me to buy all these things for you. He asked me to dress you up like a princess consort. "

Taehyung was confused hearing this. Why would he dress up like a princess consort when he was just a general's wife.
