Denki and (Y/n) walked around Joypolis with the former swinging their interlocked hands back and forth excitedly.
This was the date spot Denki had picked after (no joke) a day of consideration.
The pair had already been here for a good four hours when all the lights went out.
There were screams from the other people as Denki and (Y/n) out their phones and turning on the flashlights.
"Awe~ Babe~! We're so in sync!" Denki cooed.
"Twinnem~" (Y/n) chimed in.
Shortly after, faint emergency lights turned on and the sound of what both assumed to be an employee sounded from a distance away.
(Y/n) and Denki approached the crowd of people gathered around the employee.
Most people were quiet and assumedly understanding of the fact that the power had gone out and would be fixed in 15 minutes tops.
There were, however, a vocal few who whined and complained saying things like how they'd come from so far and that they needed to be responsible for this.
"Don't you guys have backup generators?" Denki asked, raising his hands.
Everything went into quiet mutters as people recognized the two pro heroes.
"Y-yes.. but they're all out of battery." The employee said before he bowed a full 90 degrees, "We're so very sorry."
"Ah? Couldn't you recharge them, Kami?" (Y/n) asked.
"Woah! You're right, babe! I totally could!" Denki cheered out.
"Would you?! We'd be incredibly grateful!" The employee said.
Denki held out a thumbs up, "Happy to help!"

Denki bit on the ends of cables using his quirk to slowly recharging the backup generators as (Y/n) and the employee supervised.
From the doorway the employee and (Y/n) saw the massive arcade spring to life again.
(Y/n) smiled before turning back toward their boyfriend, "Way to go Denks—"
"Weey~!" Denki cheered out in his "short circuit mode" holding his thumbs up.
(Y/n) burst out laughing before walking over and interlocking both of their arms together to look after him until he went back to normal.
"I'm so sorry! I do know the place consumes a lot of electricity." The employee said bowing again.
"Nah, don't sweat it. He had a busy day so that's why he got dumb so fast. He'll be ok." (Y/n) assured.
"I'll go speak to my manager to pay you guys back somehow!" The employee said before running off before (Y/n) could object.
"Let's get back to it, hm?" (Y/n) said as they walked out of the backroom being extra careful of Denki to make sure he didn't bump into anything.
