Bakugo continued up the trail effortlessly, waiting for a before turning around.
"Hurry up, stupid. If you're any slower we'll miss it." Bakugo said gently.
(Y/n) huffed and puffed as they tried to keep up carrying their backpack, "You.... forget my... stamina sucks, Kat..." They breathed heavily, "I don't... do this... hiking stuff... as often... as you.. Can't I just.... Ninja up and get to the... summit already?"
"NO, YOU CHEATER!" Bakugo shouted.
(Y/n) groaned.
"Hurry, this is important." Bakugo said softly, continuing on.
A few minutes later, the couple finally reached the top with (Y/n) dramatically collapsing on the floor as Bakugo admired the view.
"Oi, spitfire, look." Bakugo said.
(Y/n) raised their heads and looked at the sky, "Woah... A meteor shower..." They stood up as they unclipped their backpack and it hit the floor, "I mean, my lungs still burn... but damn... Worth it."
A peaceful silence surrounded the two as they watched the stars flash by.
(Y/n) continued to stare at the sky in awe until quiet shuffling caught their eye and they turned around.
"MARRY ME." Bakugo shouted, on one knee
"....Isn't that supposed to be a question?" (Y/n) asked.
"NO." Bakugo said with finality, "Don't get me wrong. This is just so Icy Hot and the Nerd stop getting ideas."
(Y/n) chuckled, "They would never!"
"YEAH, RIGHT!" Bakugo countered, "... Anyway... Your parents and Aizawa said it was ok to ask you." His face was covered in blush by this point.
(Y/n) let out a laugh, "You asked my parents?!"
"JUST ANSWER ALREADY!" Bakugo shouted.
"DUH! Obviously! But I'm not wearing a dress!" (Y/n) joked.
"WHO CARES WHAT YOU WEAR—..... As long as I get to marry you..." Bakugo mumbled the last part.
"Going sappy on me, hm~?" (Y/n) teased.
"SHUT UP!" Bakugo snapped.
(Y/n) lightly chuckled as they extended their hand out just as the stars stopped falling.
