Tokoyami rested on the top of a skyscraper in the middle of his night patrol.
Today seemed to be a peaceful night. No villains around, no accidents, just clear skies.
"Why, hello there, pretty bird~" A voice called out.
Tokoyami flinched a bit at the sudden noise before turning to the side with a half annoyed sigh, "(Y/n)..."
"Heya, 'Yami!" (Y/n) said cheerfully and they slid down from the skyscraper's needle onto the roof.
"May I enquire how you knew I was here." Tokoyami asked.
"Well, it's possible I maybe~ Sorta~ Asked Keigo where you were patrolling today?" (Y/n) asked as they playfully leaned with a giggle.
"...Of course." Tokoyami deadpanned.
"Is it really that bad to see your partner on patrol~?" (Y/n) said, faking being sad.
Tokoyami chuckled, "That's not the problem. He's the problem."
"How mean!" (Y/n) joked.
The two shared a chuckle before looking up at the sky.
"....The moon is beautiful isn't it?" Tokoyami said.
(Y/n) didn't think much of it for a little while until the realization hit them on the face.
"Aw~ 'Yami~! Just like all the cheesy mangas~" (Y/n) cooed.
Tokoyami blushed and looked away.
Tokoyami's earpiece suddenly went off with radio chatter. He then sighed and that's when (Y/n) knew he was being called to assist.
"Where to?" (Y/n) asked.
"Downtown." Tokoyami responded.
"Race ya' both!" (Y/n) said, sprawling out the Tengu's wings and took off.
Dark Shadow suddenly popped up, "Don't let them get away Fumikage! We have to win!"
Tokoyami sweatdropped, "...What about getting to the scene on time...?"
