(Y/n) walked out of the bathroom in their nightclothes after taking a shower. They hoped for a peaceful evening. In all honesty they were ready to sleep right now, alas they couldn't since Tensie was visiting and they had to help with hosting.
Whatever, (Y/n) wasn't about to get changed just for maybe two hours while they had dinner. They started walking downstairs as they stretched their arms.
Before (Y/n) could react they were ambushed by two people hugging them. A second of confusion passed before the realization set in.
"Mom! Dad!" (Y/n) cheered out.
"Hiya, kiddo!" (F/n) greeted with a giant grin.
"Surprise!" (M/n) quietly cheered out.
"You guys should've told me you were visiting!" (Y/n) said returning the hug.
"Well, then it wouldn't be a surprise (N/n)." (F/n) said as he and his wife finally released (Y/n).
"I would've made myself a little more presentable if I knew you guys would be around." (Y/n) half joked.
"Why dress up when you can be yourself~!" (F/n) said, "We're your parents, (Y/n). Not your inlaws!" He jokes.
(Y/n) laughed.
Tensie walked into the room with Iida following side-by-side.
(Y/n) turned to the brothers before bursting out laughing, "Ten-! Why are you wearing a tux!?"
Iida continued to stand up incredibly straight and unmoving, he was a man on a mission.
(Y/n) walked over still laughing before standing on their toes and wrapping their arms around Iida's neck, "You're a riot, class prez~"
Iida seemed to relax a bit at the contact before he carefully removed (Y/n)'s hand from around his neck and instead held them with a determined look on his face.
(Y/n) looked a bit thrown for a loop and turned to their parents as if to say "Are you seeing this?"
(F/n) looked strangely smug while (M/n) was close to tears and so was Tensei.
"...Ok? Who's dying? Is it Endeavour? Please tell me it's Endeavour." (Y/n) said.
"You are so dense it's almost impressive, kiddo." (F/n) teased.
(Y/n) heard some shuffling and when they turned around they were met with an open box with an expensive looking ring on it, "Ooooooh~" they said in sudden realization.
"Cunningham (Y/n)... W-... Will you marry me—?" Iida asked before he was quickly tackled to the floor.
"Hell yeah! But I'm letting go of my name. It's history. We can hyphenate at most." (Y/n) said, hugging Iida tightly.
Iida burst into happy tears, "RIGHT!"
