Chapter 67: Well yeah!

~Tuesday~

Shinso

Shinso and (Y/n) were currently standing outside of Carrot's house, Shinso having been invited to have dinner at (Y/n)'s house and subsequently stayed the night.

Finally the door was opened by Carrot's dad, Mark.

"Hey, Mr. Weinerman. Can Carrot come out and play?" (Y/n) joked.

Mark chuckled, "Hey there, (N/n)! Of course he can." He turned to the house, "Carson! (Y/n)'s here to pick you up!"

"I'm almost done!" Carrot's voice called out.

"That boy, I swear. How about you kids wait inside for a bit?" Mark offered, stepping aside.

(Y/n) and Shinso entered the house and sat on the living room couch.

"Is Ketchup with you today?" (Y/n) asked.

"He certainly is. He's somewhere around." Mark said, looking around.

"I GOT FRIES!" (Y/n) yelled.

A sudden meow was heard as Ketchup walked around the corner.

Shinso's eyes lit up at the sight of the cat.

Ketchup walked over to (Y/n) and rubbed against their legs purring.

"Hey there, Catsup~" (Y/n) said, gently picking up the cat, "How've you been Kit-kat?"

Ketchup let out a meow in response purring loudly.

"Meet Shinso. Say "Hi"." (Y/n) said holding the cat out to Shinso.

Ketchup meowed at the boy.

Shinso carefully took the cat, who seemed more than happy to be held by anybody.

Ketchup was more like a dog than a cat in regards to personality. He was friendly and clingy and actually went out on walks, he had a harness and everything.

At first (Y/n) and Carrot had only taken Ketchup on a walk as a joke because they thought it was funny to take a cat on a walk. It turned out that Ketchup enjoyed it and started sitting by the door meowing with the harness at his feet waiting for someone to walk him.

The joke became not a joke anymore and Carrot, much to his dismay, got tons of attention for walking a cat pretty much everyday.

"I'm here!" Carrot said, running down the stairs.

(Y/n) got up and them and Carrot fist-bumped.

"Oh- Heya, Shin!" Carrot greeted.

Shinso nodded in acknowledgement before focusing back on Ketchup.

"He really lives up to the Nekoshi name, doesn't he?" Carrot joked.

"I'm never wrong with my nicknames." (Y/n) said smugly.

"I'm leaving dad!" Carrot called out.

"Have fun! (Y/n)! Say hi to your mom for me!" Mark called back.

"I will! Bye Mr. Mark!" (Y/n) yelled out, "Let's go now. My mom's waiting in the car."

Shinso sighed and reluctantly set Ketchup down.

"No worries man. You can drop by anything to hang out, Ketchup included." Carrot assured as he opened the door for the other two.

"We should have a sleep over at yours!" (Y/n) cheered as they stepped out.
