Chapter 81: Notfairnotfairnotfair

After patching up the hole, Todoroki set his arm down with a frosty sigh.

"Woah. Is that... frost on your skin?" (Y/n) said as they approached the boy.

"(Y/n). I'm glad you're ok. Yes, yes it is. Using one half instead of both causes side effects as you can see." Todoroki said, "I assume the class sent you to come get me, but I refuse."

(Y/n) opened their mouth to speak but Todoroki cut them off.

"The VRP can't defend themselves against the attack. We're all unaware of who has a card so that they could be freed from their restraints, but likely they'd be busy anyway." Todoroki said.

(Y/n) tried to speak yet again unsuccessfully.

"So I refuse. It's my job as a provisional hero to protect those who need-" Todoroki said before a screech cut him off.

(Y/n) watched as cracks started to form on the ice dome and how as quickly as they appeared Todoroki was swift to patch up.

Once all the cracks were patched up again, Todoroki sighed out frost again.

"Todo-kun... this isn't sustainable." (Y/n) said in a worried tone.

"I...know. But it's only until the heroes can subdue the beast. I should be able to last. If I use my fire side, my ice will be weaker." Todoroki said.

(Y/n) frowned. Then they came up with an idea.

Todoroki kept catching his ice dome for any cracks before he was distracted by a quick flash of light. He looked and saw a ball of fire near his right side. He looked at (Y/n).

"Tengu fireball! It won't go out as long as the Ninja creates it with a specific intention! At least that's what First said." (Y/n) said.

"First? Like that old Ninja in the museum?" Todoroki asked.

(Y/n) froze before laughing awkwardly, "Y-yeah! Us Cunnigham's have all kind of old ninja scrolls and I read it on one of them! That's what I meant! Uh huh! Yessir!"

"I see. That's handy." Todoroki said cluelessly.

(Y/n) sighed internally, 'Thank Nomi Todoroki is so gullible.'

"Thank you. This is helpful." Todoroki said.

"No worries! And about our previous conversation before we were so rudely interrupted, I'm not here to drag you to the dorms. I'm backup!" (Y/n) said and pulled out one of the medkits from their belt, "And a traveling nurse!"

Todoroki's eyes widened, "Please help my brother. He got injured protecting Shigaraki and myself. A few of the others got hurt too."

(Y/n) saluted Todoroki, "Yes, sir!" They ran up into the VRP door only to find it unlocked.

It was likely Nezu unlocked it to give the VRP students a chance to flee, but they decided, much like 1A, to stay put.

Once inside (Y/n) saw most of the VRP-ers injured; and injured worse than 1A with the exceptions of Shigaraki and Toga. They watched for a second as the two uninjured reformees tried their best with ripped up sheets, water and whatever they could improvise as medical supplies.

"Never fear! I am here! With medical supplies!" (Y/n) announced dramatically.

All of the attention was on them as they suddenly on them as (Y/n) set the three large medkits on the floor.

Shigaraki and Toga were quick to swift one before going over to treat one of their injured friends.

(Y/n) grabbed the remaining medkit and walked over to Spinner, "Don't worry. I totally aced the first aid semester exam." They lightly joked.
