His eyes were closed as he sat in the middle of the temple meditating.
After a few hours he could hear... some sort of celebration outside. Reluctantly getting up and exiting the temple, he was met by the rest of the congregation opening barrels of beer and starting up a feast.
He looked confused as he adjusted his cape, his aide walking to his side immediately.
"What on Earth is going on?" He asked, looking stoically as people cheerfully walked from place to place.
"Oh, it's wonderful news, my lord!" His aide exclaimed.
"I don't want the roundabout." He said.
"One of our own had said they spotted the Ninja in Norrisville! The mask! It's awake!" His aide exclaimed.
His eyes brightened at the mere mention of the mask being awake.
"Oh! It's wonderful! Just wonderful! It's fate it must be! You have re-awoken and now so has the Ninja! It must be an omen! The fact you have awoken first must mean you'll certainly win the battle and rain discor-..." His aide continued rambling, but he didn't care for any of it.
He hurriedly made his way to the Elder's quarters. Upon arriving he slammed the doors opened.
"Ah, I see you've been told the news, have you my Lord?" The Elder spoke.
"Is it true? Is the Ninja actually awake?! Has E-" He started speaking but was cut off.
"Indeed they have. That uniform is unmistakable." The elder said, holding out a picture.
He immediately ripped the picture out of the Elder's hand and looked at it. His heart beating faster at just the glimpse.

"It is a wonderful day. Finally Brandon Cunningham has awakened." The elder said.
His smile flattered and his expression morphed into one of confusion.
"Brandon Cunningham?" He asked.
"Indeed. The first born Cunningham child of the current generation. According to tradition the book was passed to the eldest, Drake, and now it should be in the possession of his eldest." The Elder said, holding up a picture of a black haired boy.
He carefully took the picture and looked carefully. He then turned to look at the picture of the Ninja. he turned to the picture of the boy.
"He is not Eve. How dare you deceive me." He said coldly.
"...Pardon?" The Elder asked.
He ripped the picture of the boy part with an enraged expression, "What is this nonsense? This isn't Eve nor will it ever be. Insolent dotard." He stormed out of the chappel and out of the camp.
