Be Intentional
•••I often live my life thinking about the hacks because in every situation, there's a workaround, a shortcut. Contrary to common belief, success isn't always about working hard; it's often about working smart. This might involve networking with the right people, frequenting the same places, and blending in until you're part of the scene.
Sometimes, success boils down to luck – being in the right place at the right time. Take Georgina, for instance. If she had called in sick that day at Gucci, she wouldn't be on a 100-million-dollar yacht right now because she's the girlfriend of CR7 arguably one of, if not the richest footballer alive. She was in the right place at the right time.
But where are these "right places"? It all boils down to the routine. It's all about understanding their routine and surroundings. First off, consider their vacations, off-season —chances are they frequent the same destinations year after year.
Then there's their social scene: where they party and who they hang out with. Pay attention to their entourage; even their less famous friends can give you clues. Keep an eye on social media—those friends might post a lot, making them more accessible. Where they shop (especially if they don't have a personal shopper), the services they use, where they get their hair done, and how often. And don't forget about dating apps— don't be fooled some may really use a high end one. It's all about spotting the patterns and finding your way into their world.
Then you have to think about your resources and means, if a fan page post that the one you're after is in Mykonos how easily and fast can you board a flight? Hmm. The aim is to be seen and if you're lucky enough, that's all it'll take.
Some make it easy if you're persistent but a Bellingham? It hasn't been easy so when all fails what do I do? I try to infiltrate his home. If all fails, the off-season is right around the corner and chances are he will in the South of France, maybe the US so I could make an appearance there. But one step at a time.
As I continued my stroll, enjoying a popsicle on a scorching hot day, my mind wandered. It had been two days since my interview with Gran Elite, and still, I hadn't heard anything from them. I tried not to dwell on it too much; overthinking was my specialty, after all.
Finishing my popsicle, I casually tossed the stick away before retrieving my small mirror from my purse to touch up my lip gloss. It was a habit, overly applying lipgloss.
Turning a corner, I found myself drawn to the familiar allure of a high-end designer store—Louis Vuitton. Shoe shopping always had a way of lifting my spirits, and a new outfit didn't hurt either.
As I stepped inside, I quickly felt at home, retail therapy was my favourite type of therapy. Rows upon rows of designer shoes screamed Bianca, each pair more expensive than the last.
Among the other shoppers, I noticed a woman in her mid-forties, her designer sunglasses perched on her perfectly sculpted nose. Her outfit screamed wealth—from the pristine limited edition Chanel handbag dangling from her arm to the shimmering diamond bracelet that hugged her wrist. As she examined a pair of stiletto heels, I couldn't help but wonder what her closet looked like.
Nearby, a young couple caught my eye. They couldn't have been more than in their late twenties, yet their designer clothing and expensive accessories spoke volumes about their affluent lifestyle. The woman's hair was perfectly styled, her makeup flawlessly applied, while the man exuded an air of effortless confidence in his tailored suit. It was clear they were accustomed to the finer things in life.
As I continued to peruse the shelves, I couldn't help but notice I was surrounded by wealth and privilege. It was both intoxicating and slightly unnerving, a big reminder of the divide between the haves and the have-nots in our society.
