I woke up and gently removed Jude's hand so I could get up. As I stood, I glanced over at him and noticed he was still fast asleep. Searching for my dress and underwear, I felt like a groupie sneaking out after a one-night stand. Once redressed, I quietly made my way back to my quarters, checking the time and realizing it was almost time for him to wake up.

Even though my room was a good distance from his, I could hear his alarm blaring. If the term "death" had a sound, it would probably resemble his alarm—loud and utterly alarming. It was quite frightening from a distance I couldn't imagine being in there when it's going off. I made my way to my bathroom, showering then getting dressed to get the day started.

I went downstairs blending my shake only to see I was now joined by Jude. "Why'd you leave?"

"I refuse to be woken by your alarm." I said.

"It's the only thing that wakes me up" He laughed before coming over and stealing a kiss before leaving.

I heard the doorbell, it couldn't be either of the three persons I was expecting because they all had keys, Jude trusted them that much. My heart was pounding, I really hope it wasn't Lana's mother again. I made my way over peeking through the peek hole before pulling the door quickly stepping out and closing it behind me.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I said in a forced whisper as I looked at Linda. "How did you even know how to find his house."

We couldn't move because then, if Jude was looking out his window, he would have the perfect view.

"Not important, Lana mother is digging" She said.

"I know, she came here last night asking for Jude, but I told her he wasn't home" I said quickly, still looking around.

"What? Did you make mentions of it to Jude?" She said barely above whisper.

"Gosh no, I needed time to think so I fucked him instead, great distraction by the way." I said running my fingers through my hair. Still looking around ensuring we were alone.

"You needed time to think so you slept with him?" She said asking me back what I said trying to make sense of it.

"You have to go," I told her, "Please just go, I'll come to you in a few"

I quickly closed the door behind me, recomposing myself. No sign of worry, just calm and collected Bianca. I looked up to see Jude coming down the stairs once again, phone in hand with his eyes glued to the screen.

"Hi gorgeous," he said, finally looking at me. It was so hard not to be feral; he was everything.

"Hi handsome," I blushed. He walked over to me, pulling me into a hug before kissing the top of my head.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked.

"Best sleep I've had in years," I smiled.

"Oh really?" he said, looking down at me.

"Really," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. The effect he had on me was indescribable.

"Good," he smiled before giving me a soft kiss on my lips. "Do you want to come to today's game?"

"I have work," I said, which made him laugh.

"I'm sure your boss will understand," he winked.

"I really can't deal with the media right now; it's too soon," I said, trying to work my way out of the invite.

"Who cares about them?" He asked.

"Fine, I'll be at the next one" I said giving him a kiss.

Jude eventually got ready and left out earlier than he usually would. Once the staff clocked in, I told Antonio I had a few things to restock for the house. As soon as the cab arrived, I left.
