Delusions
•••

As I stood in front of the mirror, carefully curling my hair and applying my makeup, my mind drifted to the concept of delusion as I thought about Mario calling me delusional. What if there was no such thing as delusion or being delusional? What if the term itself was a conspiracy designed to keep us from attaining our wildest dreams?

As I blended foundation onto my skin, I couldn't help but to start thinking about how the barriers between our dreams and reality might just be illusions, made up to instill doubt and prevent us from reaching our full potential.

Of course, you could have that dream car at 18. I thought as I applied my concealer under my eyes. If you work hard or smart tirelessly towards it, pouring every ounce of effort and determination into achieving that goal, why wouldn't it be possible? I strongly believe the idea that certain aspirations are unattainable or 'delusional' is simply a myth created by those who gave up on their own dreams.

If you really think about it every major breakthrough, every revolutionary idea, was once considered delusional. The airplane, the internet, space travel—each was dismissed as a fantasy until someone dared to challenge that notion and work relentlessly to make it a reality. The truth is, any "delusion" can become a reality if you dedicate yourself to it fully.

Every great success story starts with a dream that others might label as delusional. The difference lies in the willingness to turn that dream into a reality. Instead of feeling discouraged by the seeming 'impossibility', be inspired to take action. Dreams are only as unattainable as we allow them to be.

I've always told myself the line between 'delusion' and ambition is simply...action. Do something !

As I brushed on mascara, I let my thoughts wander to Jude. On the surface, the idea of him knowing and falling for me might seem far-fetched, but if I make myself visible to him, if I position myself in his world, why couldn't it happen?

If I pursue my passions and intersect my path with his, I'm creating opportunities for connection. Visibility, after all, is the key. Sometimes it really boils down to being present in the right places, engaging with the right people, and aligning my interests with his.

Think about it: who is your dream guy? Are you being delusional, or does he simply not know you exist? I believe the answer is always the latter.

Delusion sometimes implies a break from reality, an impossible dream. But the truth is, many people who seem unattainable or hard to get, example Jude Bellingham are just regular individuals who have worked hard to get where they are.  He's really not above anyone.

They interact with others, form relationships, and have the same capacity to connect as anyone else. So why should it be delusional to think, anyone couldn't just be with him? Of course there will be gatekeepers, but if you're smart enough to by pass the obstacles there's nothing to stop you.

Often, we convince ourselves that our dreams are out of reach, labeling them as delusional. But what if that's just a convenient excuse to avoid putting in the effort required to make them a reality? I dont do excuses.

The key is to be proactive. It's not about sitting back and daydreaming; it's about taking steps to place yourself in situations where you can be noticed. I've decided to become the Bellinghams' house manager. This isn't a crazy daydream—it's a strategic move to enter his world, he knows I exist now and even thinks I'm pretty.

I quickly set my foundation and sprayed my settings spray, considering knowing and falling for me might seem crazy to some, but with the right mindset, actions, and perseverance, it's just another goal waiting to be achieved. The same applies to any aspiration I hold dear or anyone hold dares.
