Strange?

Today felt like it would never end. I had a long day of training, followed by hours on set for an Adidas commercial. Finally, I was home, craving nothing more than a long shower, a good meal, and cuddling with Lana.

As I opened the front door, Lana appeared, practically bounding towards me like an excited puppy. Her smile lit up the room.

"Hi, baby," she sang, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug.

"Hi, love. How are you?" I asked, looking down at her. We hadn't texted or spoken much today; it had been too busy for either of us to find the time.

"I'm good," she replied, beaming up at me. "After my casting, I came straight here. I asked Antonio to make one of your favourite meals, honey-glazed ham with roasted vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. It's ready."

"Alright," I said, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead. "I'm going to take a shower and be back."

She nodded, her eyes sparkling. "Okay, I'll be here."

I made my way upstairs to my bedroom, shedding my clothes as I went. The hot water felt like a blessing, I had been dreaming about this part of the day. As I stood under the stream, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was to have Lana. She always knew how to make me feel better, how to make everything seem okay.

After my shower, I dressed in comfortable clothes and headed back downstairs. The aroma of honey-glazed ham greeted me, making my stomach growl. I found Lana in the dining room, setting the table with Antonio's culinary masterpiece.

The table was beautifully set, with candles flickering and fresh flowers in a vase. She had gone all out, as usual. She looked up as I entered, her face lighting up with a smile.

"Ready to eat?" she asked, her voice warm and inviting.

"Absolutely," I replied, taking a seat. "This looks amazing, I didn't like the food option on set so I'm starving."

We sat down and began to eat, the food tasting as incredible as it smelled. As we talked about our days, I couldn't help but feel at peace. She just had a way of making everything better, of making even the toughest days seem worthwhile, I never got this feeling with Alexis, not even close.

"How was your casting?" I asked between bites.

"It went really well," she said, her eyes shining with excitement. "It was for a fashion show in Madrid. They're looking for models to showcase a new line by Simon Berardi."

"Sounds good," I said, genuinely happy for her. "I hope you get it. You deserve it."

"I'm really hopeful about it," she continued. "The designer seemed to like me. If I get this, it could open up so many opportunities."

"I'm sure you'll get it," I assured her. "You're perfect."

"Thank you sunshine" she giggled, I hated that name, but I worked with it, "When is Bianca coming back, the place feels a little different without her"

"She was supposed to be back today but she said there was some form of emergency so I guess it's tomorrow, and yeah her presence is definitely missed" I replied.

"I don't know if it's in my head but" She said as she cut a piece of her ham, "I get the feeling she's always watching me, I don't know if she hates me but it is a little creepy"

"Really?," I said a bit a confused.

"Yeah, I get the feeling she doesn't like me I can't imagine why though, I think she's beautiful amazing, and literally has the best hair I've ever seen"
