Jenna's POV
3 months later
"Cut! Okay Jenna, that's good!" One of the director's shouts. "We'll take a short break and try that again."
"That's not necessary." Jenna turns to him. "I can redo the shot."
"Jenna-"
"I'm ready." She interjects. "Whenever you are."
After some hesitation, he yells: "Action!"

"You've been doing so well." Anne sits across from Jenna on the trailer couch."You're invited to a Netflix golden globe event."
"Emma's team suggested that the two of you go together. Would make good publicity." She smiles broadly.
"When's the event?" Jenna asks, looking for her pack of cigarettes.
"Tomorrow evening. You guys can even have matching outfits or something. Doesn't that sound good?"
"Sure." Jenna says dryly, taking out an unlit cigarette.
Anne sits up right, elated."What colours you thinking of? Black for Wednesday?"
"Why not." Jenna responds.
"Maybe some white and grey just to break the colour a bit."
"I trust my stylist will think of something good." Jenna responds, hoping that will be the end of the conversion.
"I'll let them know." Anne begins to stand up. "You gonna enjoy yourself. Emma's quite a cool person. I've watched your interactions. You guys flow seamlessly."
An awkward pause.
"You not hungry?" Anne asks, eyeing the unfinished plate of food.
Jenna's eyes meet the plate."Uh, not really no."
"You barely touched your plate."
Jenna adjusts herself. "Probably the excitement from wrapping up the shoot today."
Anne nods. "Okay, the car will be ready soon to take you to the hotel."
"Thank you."

A day after the Netflix event, Jenna sits in the dark of the night, her laptop the only light. She looks at the photo of the two of you.
A picture of you leaning on her shoulder, laughing while she looks at you with a big smile on her face. It was one of her favourite photos.
Silent tears roll down Jenna's face as she looks at you through the screen. Her friend...former friend.
"Jenna." Anne calls out.
Jenna quickly wipes her tears away, closing her laptop. She cursed under her breath, unaware that Anne could come into her room.
"What are you doing still up? We're days away from finishing up this movie. You need to rest." She instructs.
Jenna clears her throat and stands up. "Yeah you're right. Excuse me so I can go lay down."
"I'm proud of you, Jenna." Jenna stops, her back facing Anne. "You're absolutely killing it right now. Thank you for trusting me with your career. I only want what's best for you."
Jenna nods and walks to her room. "Night."

Jenna once again sits at the window. This time staring through it. Watching the birds fly by, wishing that was her. Free to do as she pleased, free to be her authentic self, without the repercussions.
