These are just some imagines about Jenna as an acquaintance or as a friend. I haven't seen a lot with platonic relationships so I took it upon myself to write some for fun.
I do hope you enjoy the read.
"Hey. You okay?" You speak softly as you sit next to Jenna on the couch. "Talk to me."
She sighs heavily, but you rest your hand on hers.
"This fame thing is getting to me a little bit. I don't know - I'm grateful for work and opportunities, but it all feels too much, you know." She looks at you for understanding, that she's not crazy for thinking the way she is.
"I feel like I'm suffocating, y/n." She whispers, looking away.
"I'm sorry about that. That you can't be as free as you used to be." You throw your arm over her shoulder and squeeze.
"Yeah, everywhere I go. It's sign this and take a picture with me and do the dance." She says in frustration. She rubs her temples with one hand.
You can't help but smile. "I gotta admit though, the dance is iconic."
Jenna musters a giggle. Your heart hurts seeing how emotionally and mentally exhausted she is.
"I know your schedule's been a little hectic recently, but I genuinely don't want you to lose yourself." You admit.
"I'm trying. I really am. I haven't even been on social media in a long time." Jenna admits. "Everyone is watching my every move. Waiting for me to mess up or blow something out of proportion."
Jenna's tired eyes find yours again. "Am I being unreasonable?"
"It's a lot to take in. That I can imagine. But you're not unreasonable, your life kinda changed over night Jenna."
Jenna quietly lays her head on your lap. You begin to run your fingers through her hair, something that always calmed her.
"You're reaping all your hardwork. But all I really want for you, is to rest." You say.
"What I want is to go out and not have the need to have a bodyguard next to me all the time. To enjoy listening to music as I walk down the street."
"I miss hanging out with you." Jenna cries. "I'm such a bad friend, I'm always busy with this, that or the other."
"I miss you too. But at the end of your day, this is your dream job. And you've been killing it lately." You smile. "Handling yourself well despite everything going on around. I'm proud of you."
"I appreciate that y/n. Thank you."
"Just mention me in one of your speeches when you win an award."
Jenna begins to laugh.
"C'mon." You persuade her to get up. "Let's go."
"Wait. Hold up." Jenna sits up confused. "Where are we going? I thought we're just chilling at your place tonight."
"It's a surprise. Meet me in the car."
* The drive takes about 30mins to arrive at your destination. The cool breeze welcomes you as you get out of the car.
"You brought me to a silent disco on the beach?" Jenna asks elated.
"I thought you'd like music. You know, without being distracted." You wink at her.
"Yeah, yeah. I didn't think you'd actually - this is so cool." Jenna scans amazed at everyone dancing in absolute silence. The ocean crashing on the shore was the only sound you could hear.
You hold each other's hand to walk carefully through the cold sand towards the DJ's booth the grab your headphones.
"Put on your headphones. It's time to disco." You hand one over to Jenna.

You and Jenna dance the night away.
Not one person interrupted the two of you. Everyone was in their own little universe.
It warmed your heart seeing how truly relaxed and happy Jenna was. As she closed her eyes moving to the sound of the music.
Taking you by the hands and dancing with you and then by herself.

"Thanks for this. I had a really good time." Jenna says taking off her headphones.
"I'm glad. You ready to go home?" You ask, catching your breath.
Jenna pouts. "Just one more song please?"
You shake your head with a small smile. "One more song."
