On the pavement, you watch as a car drives by you recklessly fast making people swear and stare at how dangerous it is.

After the chaos you sit up and dust yourself off. You quickly look towards the girl you saved. Her face covered with a mask, but her eyes in shock.

She rubs her shoulder - you are sure it hurts.

"Are you alright?" You ask her. You feel your heart pounding against your chest.

"Yeah...I think so." She touches her forehead and then her chest. Her rapid breathing starting to slow. "Geez.. That was really close."

You begin to stand up and dust yourself off. "That idiot shouldn't even be on the road. Also be a little bit more aware of your surroundings."

You offer a hand to the girl and she takes it. "You honestly saved my life. Thank you. Sorry I didn't catch your name."

"Y/n. And yours."
The stranger bends down to pick up her fallen sunglasses and black headphones.

"Jenna." Her eyes smiling, her real smile still under her mask.

"You know it would be cool to see the face of the person I-"

"Uhm yeah yeah. I'm okay." You hear her respond before being pushed back by many other people worrying about her. You barely see her in the crowd.

Seeing you're not needed you head back down the street. Trying to blend in with the rest of the people.
