"Do you want anything before they arrive? Which is really an excuse for me to not be seen." You admit to Jenna.

Jenna was invited to a Valentino show that was happening today and for some reason she wanted you to come along for the prep work.

"I told you already, they won't capture you at all. Besides they'll think you're part of the hair and make-up crew." Jenna sits cross-legged on the couch with her knee high socks.

Jenna has always kept you and your friendship out of the media. It was an agreement between the two of you, but you didn't want that to change today.

"I really hope you're right." You chew on your bottom lip.

You've seen too many times how friendships get ruined by some jealous fans, trolls and money-hungry media. You appreciate what you have too much to have it ruined.

"So, anything?" You ask Jenna again, trying to not think too negatively.

"A cup of tea would be nice. Thanks." She says typing on her phone.

There's a sudden knock on the door. Your breath hitches, nervous about the people behind it.

Jenna notices how tense you are and pats your shoulder gently as she heads towards the door. "It's okay y/n, I'll get it. That's probably the make-up team."

"And I'll be right back." You say heading off to the kitchen.

"Hey, good morning. Morning." You hear Jenna greet in the other room. "Please come in and make yourself at home. Vogue should be coming in a few."

"Okay that gives us some time to start of with some basics before they arrive." You hear a chirpy female voice say.

After preparing the tea, you watch from a distance as a woman places all the brushes, blushes, concealers, lipsticks and anything more you can think of on the table. Everything is packed neatly in its holders and cases.
Another woman plugging her a curling iron.

"Is all that necessary?" You ask about the make-up, getting heads turned to your direction.

"It depends," Jenna smirks, her messy bun now just loose hair over her shoulders "But I honestly think it's for the aesthetic. Come over here." She waves you over.

You walk further into the room with the steaming cup and saucer.

"Ladies, this is my close friend y/n." Jenna introduces you.

"Hi." You wave shyly, not really wanting any attention.

"Hello." They say in friendly unison as they continue their tasks. You breathe a sigh of relief happy that they aren't interested in asking any questions.

You place the cup on the table close to Jenna. "Here's your t-"

There's a knock on the door.

"Ooh y/n could you please get the door that's Vogue." Jenna claps her hands.

"S-sure." You swallow.

You walk over to open the door. A little nervous as you pull its handle.

"Good morning... Vogue?" You greet.

"Yes, that's us. Jenna Ortega? Are we in the right place?" Two men with cameras and equipment stand behind the door.

"Oh yes, of course. You may enter." You stand aside for them to walk in.

"Ms Ortega good to see you! You look amazing!" The main guy compliments her.

"I doubt that, I don't have any makeup on yet." She jokes. "So I'm a little nervous and excited about this."
