Jisoo crouched down next to Rosé, whose hands and legs were tied, and whispered urgently in her ear. "Chae, wake up! Wake up!"

Lisa, who was also tied up in a similar manner, wiped the blood off her lips with the fabric of her shirt.

Rosé stirred slightly at Jisoo's whispers, her eyelashes fluttering as she slowly began to regain consciousness. Her eyes slowly opened, revealing a dazed expression as she tried to make sense of her surroundings.

"What... happened?" she asked groggily, her voice coming out as a hoarse whisper.

Jisoo breathed a sigh of relief, her eyes scanning Rosé's face for any signs of serious injury. "We were attacked," she explained, her voice barely above a whisper. "Someone ambushed us and tied us up."

Lisa, who was sitting nearby, nodded in agreement, adding, "We don't know where we are or who our captor is, but we're stuck here now."

Lisa glanced around, her eyes darting around the room as if searching for something, or someone.

"Hey, wait a minute..." she whispered, her voice tinged with worry. "Where is Jennie unnie?"

Rosé quickly shushed her, reminding her to be careful about using Jennie's real name out loud.

"Shh, keep your voice down," she cautioned. "We don't know who might be listening."

Jisoo's voice quivered as she spoke. "I was monitoring the cameras, making sure everything was okay, when someone came up behind me and put a cloth over my face. I passed out immediately."

Lisa nodded in agreement. "I had just finished my check of that idiot's I mean target's room when the same thing happened to me. Everything went dark."

Rosé chimed in, her eyes wide, "It happened to me too! I was leaving the target's room when I felt a cloth over my face, and then everything went black."

"This is bad," Rosé  said, her voice low.

"I don't like this," Lisa muttered.

"We're sitting ducks here, helpless and defenseless."

"Don't worry, girls. Ruby will come to save us. I know she will."

"Yeah, but...  how will she even know where we are?" Lisa leaned back against the sacks, defeated.

Jisoo shook her head, her eyes determined. "She'll find a way. She's smarter than you think."

The room fell silent for a few moments, the sound of cricket buzzing.

Lisa still looked sceptical, her eyes scanning the room as if searching for a way out, while Rosé chewed on her lower lip nervously.

Suddenly, the sound of the front door opening could be heard, making all three girls go silent.

They quickly closed their eyes to pretend that they were asleep, trying to make their bodies look relaxed and their faces sleepy like they were having a nice nap.

One of the men spoke up, "Yep, they're still unconscious. They haven't woken up yet."

Lisa discreetly opened her left eye slightly, peeking through her eyelashes to get a better look at the men. She counted four of them, standing in the room.

One of the men was leaning against a stack of sacks, looking relaxed. Another two were pacing around the room, seeming tense. The fourth man was talking into a walkie-talkie, his voice low as he provided information about them.

Lisa quickly closed her eyes, her heart pounded loudly in her ears as she felt one of the men coming closer. She forced herself to stay still, to keep her breathing steady and her body relaxed.

He bent down near her, putting his elbow on his leg. She could smell his sweat and cologne as he leaned close to her.

His hand was moving near her face, and even though she really wanted to flinch or back away, she forced herself to stay still.

He was about to touch her face, but before he could do so, one of his comrades called out to him, "Kook, what are you doing over there?"

Jungkook slowly stood up, his gaze still lingering on her face, as he replied, "Nothing, hyung. Just checking on them,"

Hearing his faint steps, Jisoo quietly whispered, her eyes still shut, beads of sweat on her forehead.

Her voice trembled slightly as she asked, "Lis, are you okay?"

"I'm alright, unnie," she whispered quietly.

He suddenly stopped pacing and froze in his tracks for a while before stepping closer to the girls, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

He noticed something strange about their position - their breathing was too steady, their limbs were too unmoving. And then he heard it - a faint whimper escaping from one of the girls' lips.

It was so quiet that he almost missed it, but it was enough to make him sure - something was wrong .

His eyes darted from one girl to the next, trying to figure out which one had made the sound. But their faces remained unchanged, their expressions peaceful and still.

He leaned closer to Rosé, his ears perking up with attention. And then he heard it again - a soft rustle of clothing, as if one of them had shifted slightly in their position. His eyes flicked back and forth between the three of them.

Jin, who had been standing by the door, spoke up suddenly. "Kook, let's go," he said, his voice loud. "We'll come back later when they wake up."

Jungkook's head jerked up, his eyes still locked on the girls. He hesitated for a moment, his mind churning with suspicion, before he slowly turned away and walked towards Jin.

Rosé's body suddenly convulsed as a coughing fit overtook her. Her eyes snapped open, revealing a look of panic on her face as her body shook from the force of the cough.

Jisoo quickly whispered something in her ear, trying to calm her down.

Jungkook whipped his head back around at the sound of the cough, his eyes immediately locking on Rosé's wide, frightened gaze.

Too bad.
