Jennie perched on a nearby chair in the dimly lit basement, watching as Lisa and Jisoo stood facing the man who had been tied to a chair.
Jake, who had brought the man into the basement, lingered in the shadows, watching silently. Rosé had been feeling unwell and had been resting in her room at the mansion.
Jennie gave Lisa a subtle look, signalling her to step forward. Lisa's smirk widened as she approached the man, her eyes glinting with a dangerous glint. She leaned forward until she was standing inches away from him, her gaze fixed on his face.
She leered down at the man, her smirk twisting into a cold smile. With a lightning-fast movement, she raised her hand and delivered a sharp, hard slap to his face. The sound of flesh meeting flesh echoed through the room.
Lisa leaned down until her mouth was right next to the man's ear, her voice dripping with anger and menace. "That's for slapping me," she snarled. "And this..." She raised her hand again, bringing it down in another hard slap across the man's cheek. "This is the answer for your questions."
What are you gonna do, fight me with your tied up wrists?
What can you possibly do to me?
The man groaned in pain, his head snapping to the side from the force of the slap. He looked up at Lisa, his eyes narrowing. "You think you can intimidate me?" he spat out. "I work for BTS. You have no idea who you're dealing with."
Jennie chuckled darkly from where she stood beside Lisa. "Oh, we know exactly who we're dealing with," she said, her eyes glinting with a cold light. "And let me tell you something. You're not the first one who threatened us, and you won't be the last."
Jisoo stood a few steps behind Jennie and Lisa, her arms crossed and her expression calm. She watched as Lisa delivered the slap, the man's head snapping to the side. "We are not afraid of BTS and their dogs," she said, her voice calm.
The man sneered at her saying, "then you probably don't know what they are."
Lisa rolled her eyes, her expression dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, we're shaking in our boots," she said sarcastically. "We're terrified of a bunch of over-confident guys who think they can get away with anything."
Jennie stepped forward, drawing a small pistol from her waistband and leveling it at the man's forehead. Her expression was cold and steely, her eyes boring into his. "Any last words?" she said, her voice low and dangerous.
His eyes widened as he froze in his place, staring down the barrel of Jennie's gun. His black suit was sticking to his sweaty body and his hair to his forehead.
Jennie pressed the barrel of the gun more firmly against his forehead, a cold smile on her lips. "No last words, huh?" she said, her voice soft but deadly. "That's a shame. I was looking forward to hearing you beg for mercy."
His gaze flickered to the gun pointed at him, his body stiffening. His black hair clung to his forehead, damp with sweat, and his suit was now a disgusting shade of wet and clingy.
"W-wait a minute!" he stammered.
His pleading eyes locked onto Jennie's apathetic gaze as he stuttered out a desperate cry for mercy. But Jennie was already pulling the trigger, the shot ringing out through the empty building.
The bullet hit the man's forehead, and he slumped to the side, his body now lying motionless on the chair.
"No fun," Jennie noted nonchalantly, flicking the gun's spent shell casing onto the floor as she gazed down at his lifeless body.
"Get this cleaned, Jake," she said going out followed by Jisoo and Lisa in a single rhythm of heels.
