"Looks like we've got ourselves a new rival?" Joker said with a smirk, eyeing the letter and licking his lips.

Jin wasn't taking the threat seriously, while RM and Jimin were deep in thought, as if brewing up a new theory. Meanwhile, Shadow had a different look on his face. It was a knowing look, like he knew something.

"Could she be the one?" Shadow pondered silently, staring out the window with an expressionless face.

"What do you guys feel like eating?" Jisoo asked the maknaes, who were busy binge-watching a series on Netflix while sprawling on the couch.

"Let's have a hotpot tonight," Rosé suggested, causing Lisa to scrunch up her face in disgust. "Eww, I can't stand hotpots. Unnie, let's make sandwiches instead."

"Are you serious?" Rosé exclaimed, hitting Lisa with the remote. Lisa attempted to snatch it back, resulting in the poor thing crashing onto the floor and breaking into pieces. What did it ever do to deserve that?

"The butler just brought that remote two days ago," Jisoo remarked, giving them a disapproving look.

"So what? We're not millionaires to sweat the small stuff," Lisa said proudly, her expression faltering when Jennie, with a serious look on her face, interrupted from her laptop, "Respect hard work if you can't respect money. We didn't earn it for free."

"Sorry, unnie," Lisa apologized with an innocent smile, making Jennie nod while keeping her gaze fixed on the laptop.

"What do you feel like eating, Jendukie?" Jisoo asked, getting up from the couch and placing a bookmark in her book for later.

"Nothing. I'll skip dinner, I'm busy," Jennie replied, grabbing her laptop and heading to her bedroom. She bid everyone a "good night, guys."

"This girl," Jisoo said, watching Jennie disappear into her room, her gaze still fixed on her laptop.

"Unnie didn't even have lunch today," Rosé pointed out, causing Jisoo's eyes to widen as she realized Jennie hadn't eaten since morning. Lisa looked at the door of Jennie's room with a sad expression.

"She's really changed," Lisa remarked, reminiscing about past incidents and comparing the old Jennie to the new version.

Jennie plopped down on her bed, letting her hair down from the bun she had worn while working. Her gorgeous long hair cascaded down her back as she massaged her head and put on her glasses.

Back to focusing on her laptop, she immersed herself in her work. It was already midnight when she heard a knock at her door. Without taking her eyes off the screen, she said, "Come in, girls."

Jisoo entered with a tray of ramen noodles, while Lisa and Rosé followed with juices and pajamas.

"It's pajama night!" Lisa cheered, and Rosé clapped her hands, placing the juice on the table. She asked Jisoo and Lisa to help set up the mattresses on the floor.

"Did you guys choose my room just for our girls' night?" Jennie asked, slightly annoyed by the noise that was interrupting her focus. Suddenly, someone closed her laptop, causing her to look up, and it was none other than Lalisa Manoban.

Jennie raised an eyebrow, waiting for an explanation, as Lisa continued, "Get up, it's girls' night, not work night."

Jennie let out a sigh, getting up and removing her glasses. She changed into her pajamas. The night was all about pouring out their feelings. They talked about how they felt about life, with Rosé and Lisa mostly venting about their own struggles, while Jisoo played the role of the consoling friend, and Jennie simply listened quietly.

"Appa called me today," Rosé shared, causing everyone to look at her in surprise. Lisa was the first to react, saying, "How dare that old man disturb you? I'll give him a piece of my mind, that bast-!"

"Cut. Your. Words, Lalisa Manoban. Let the elders handle this," Jennie interjected, giving Lisa a stern look that made her quiet down with an annoyed expression. Jisoo chimed in, asking, "What did he say? Is there anything important left to say?"

"He, um, h-he asked me to f-forgive him," Rosé replied, her voice trembling as tears welled up in her eyes, making her vision blurry. Lisa handed her a tissue and patted her back, trying to comfort her.

"What do you want, Rosie?" Jennie asked sincerely, looking into her eyes. Rosé looked back with a puzzled expression, as if unsure of what she wanted.

"I know what he did to you is unforgivable, but he's still your father," Jennie reasoned, with Jisoo nodding in agreement. Lisa remained silent, gently caressing Rosé's back.

As they chatted away and enjoyed their snacks, suddenly Jennie's business phone buzzed with a new text message.

"Meet us tomorrow at 5 PM sharp at Black Fort Jacklewin Street.

~BTS~"

Jennie read the message out loud, and the girls all mumbled in unison, "BTS?"

"I've never heard of them," Lisa said, more like asking the other girls if they had.

"The person or group who sent someone to harm Rosé was this BTS," Jennie clarified, and they all looked at the text with anger.

"So 'us' means it's not just an individual but a whole group," Jisoo, the main advisor, pointed out, and Jennie nodded in agreement.

"Will you text back?" Rosé asked, placing a hand on the bed and leaning against it while they all lay on the floor.

"Yeah, I already did," Jennie replied, switching her phone and showing the girls what she wrote. "See you tomorrow, Mr. Coward."

"You're such a savage, unnie. Naming this jerk in an instant," Jennie chuckled at Lisa's
response as they continued their conversation, not caring about the text at all.

T A E H Y U N G'S P. O. V.

I leaned back against the headboard after we returned from a little mission. Stealing a diamond was a piece of cake for us, especially since we're the most successful Mafias in the underworld.

As I settled in, someone knocked on my door. I hummed in response, giving them permission to enter.

"Evening, Master," Xavier, my right-hand man, greeted me with a slight bow. I nodded and asked, "What brings you here?"

"I've got the number you asked for, master," Xavier said, making me smirk as I remembered assigning him the task.

"Hand it over," I said, and he gave me the number. After he left the room, I dialed the number and saved it as "Fierce Kitten."

I sent her a text, saying, "Meet us tomorrow at 5 PM sharp at Black Fort Jacklewin Street.

~BTS~"

A few minutes later, my phone buzzed with a notification. I quickly opened it and saw her reply.

"See you tomorrow, Mr. Coward."

Seriously? Does she think we're cowards? Nah, not a chance. She's got it all wrong. But no worries, I'll show her who the real coward is.
