Taehyung helped Jennie out of the car, his arm wrapped protectively around her waist. As they approached the villa, he could see lights-on in the living room. It was early morning, and the others were probably just waking up. Jennie hesitated, her steps faltering.

"It's okay," Taehyung whispered in his deep tone, guiding her towards the front door. He unlocked it and pushed it open, stepping inside first. The others were gathered in the living room, bleary-eyed and rubbing the sleep from their faces.

"Lisa...," Jennie's voice cracked as she hugged her back, burying her face in Lisa's shoulder. The other members exchanged small worried glances, slowly getting up from their seats.

Jisoo rushed over, joining the hug. "Nini!" She squeezed her tightly before pulling back and shouting, "Chae, bring the first aid kit! Now!" Rosé nodded and hurried off to grab it.

Rosé returned with the first aid kit, kneeling in front of Jennie.

Jennie sat down numbly, the members surrounding her like a protective barrier. As Rosé began to clean the cuts on her face, her eyes flickered to the side, spotting a lone figure standing at the back of the group, tears dried on their cheeks. Her heart constricted.

"Kim Yoongi, her brother and that member of BTS, the brother of Jennie Kim."

She stood up shakily, dislodging Rosé's hands. Ignoring the others' protests, she stepped towards him.

She stood before him, her eyes searching his face. His voice came out as a hoarse whisper, "H-how are you?" The words seemed to hang in the air between them. Jennie opened her mouth, but no sound came out. Instead, a single tear rolled down her cheek.

The room went silent. Jennie's hand flew up, striking him across the face. The sharp sound of flesh on flesh echoed through the room.

The sound echoed through the room. He took the hit, his face unflinching, eyes never leaving hers. "You left me," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "You promised." More tears spilled over.

"Princess..." Taehyung stepped forward, confusion etched on his face. He looked between her and the man she was berating.

"He left me!" she screamed, her voice cracking. "In the middle of the road! He promised he'd never leave, but he did!" Tears streamed down her face as she turned back him, her chest heaving.

Yoongi's face paled, his body swaying as if struck. "Y-you remember?" he stammered. He stepped forward, reaching out to her hesitantly. But before he could touch her, a sob tore from his throat. He pulled her into a tight hug.

"Is this what brothers do?!" she cried, pounding her fists against his chest. "You promised, yet you abandoned me!" She broke down, her body wracked with sobs. He held her tighter, his own tears mingling with hers. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..."

The room was silent once more, the only sound being Jennie's heart-wrenching sobs. Yoongi held her close, his apologies falling on deaf ears. The others stood frozen, unsure of what to do. Taehyung approached cautiously, placing a gentle hand on Jennie's shoulder.

Yoongi pulled back slightly, cupping her face in his hands. Her eyes, red and swollen from crying, met his. His thumbs brushed away her tears gently.

"I'm so... fucking.. sorry, Mandu," he whispered, his voice hoarse with unshed tears. "I needed to make sure it was really you. And..."

He paused, swallowing hard. "And I wanted to kill that bastard Kai before I told you the truth," he admitted, his voice trembling with anger.

"But I couldn't bear the thought of keeping it from you any longer. You deserve to know, to hate me, to leave me..."
