The cars pulled up to the club, one by one, the doors swung open. Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, J-hope, RM, and Yoongi stepped out, their faces bathed in the neon lights of the city.
Taehyung emerged from his car, his black glasses hiding his eyes from the bright night-lights of the city. He was dressed in all black, from his suit to his sneakers.
A moment later, the BLACKPINK car pulled up, the logo on the side gleaming in the neon lights. Lisa stepped out first, followed by Rosé and finally Jisoo.
The only difference was that they didn't have their fourth member with them, their backbone, their need, their Ruby.
Lisa looked at Taehyung, a small, sad smile on her face. "It's not the same without her," she said softly, her eyes glistening.
Taehyung pretended to not hear it and uncrossed his arms, stuffing his hands into his pockets instead.
Rosé coughed twice before saying, "Let's go inside, guys. I'm not planning to spend the night here."
Obsidian Club - the centre of attention, renowned for its plush interiors, state-of-the-art sound system, and an air of exclusivity that drew in the city's elite. The line outside snaked around the block, proving to its popularity.
The bouncers unhooked the rope, nodding at the boys and the girls. "Welcome back," one of them said, his eyes lingering on Jisoo and Lisa.
Taehyung kept his head down as they entered, his heart pounding in his chest. The noise hit him first, the throbbing bass of the music, the shouted conversations, the clink of glasses. Then the heat, the press of bodies, the flashing lights.
Hoseok clapped Taehyung on the shoulder as they made their way through the crowd. "You alright?" he shouted over the music. Taehyung just nodded, not trusting his voice. He wasn't alright. Nothing felt right without her here.
They reached the VIP section, the roped off area a sanctuary from the madness below. A server immediately appeared with a tray of drinks. Taehyung took a bottle of soju, his hands shaking very slightly as he twisted off the cap.
He downed half the bottle in one go, the liquid fire burning its way down his throat. Beside him, RM raised an eyebrow. "Easy there," he murmured. Taehyung just shrugged, taking another swig. He needed something to dull the edge of his grief, if only for tonight.
Below them, the dance floor pulsed with life. Taehyung watched as couples grinding against each other, laughter ringing out over the music. It all felt so hollow to him. He checked his phone again, as if expecting a message from her. Nothing.
Beside him, the others were already deep in conversation, laughing at something Jin had said. Taehyung felt a pang of jealousy. How could they laugh when she was gone? How could they just move on?
He finished the bottle, the world spinning a little around the edges. He stood up abruptly, needing to get away from the noise, the laughter, the reminders of her absence. He needed air. He needed silence. He needed her. But she was gone.

Jennie's P. O. V.
I gazed out the window as Kai drove, watching the city lights blur past in a streak of color and light. My mind was awhirl with thoughts of him, of us, of the conversation we needed to have.
I was dressed in a short, strapless white dress that hugged my curves. The bodice was fitted, accentuating my waist before the skirt flared out slightly at the hips. My hair was pulled back in a sleek bun, a few tendrils framing my face.
